‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Another thought on troop draw down

June 22, 2011

Some additional thoughts pursuant to obama’s drawn down on troops. Its my understanding that he was elected president to lead and make decisions in the best interest of our nation. He had no problem turning a deaf ear to those who opposed his nightmare healthcare plan – why is he so concerned about the criticism of war dissenters? Where is his leadership in this? He and his wife, who never saw a meal they wouldn’t scarf down, have their noses in what we eat, but he cannot display the leadership needed in the war effort. He was elected to be president not be a pawn of anarchists. If he isn’t going to lead, and it is obvious he is incapable of leading, then he should surrender his position and go back to chicago, where political chicanery is an acceptable way of conducting business. We need leadership in the office he holds and it is glaringly obvious he doesn’t know how to lead. Giving speeches, insulting and betraying our allies, lavish vacation trips, beer and golf summits are not leadership – they’re failed actions of someone who was never qualified to be president.
