Biden-Harris Thumb Noses At Hurricane Helene Victims by Kevin Martin
It has been less than 120 hours ago that hurricane Helena struck the Panhandle of Florida affecting the States of Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina over that span.
So far, over 100 Americans have been killed in the aftermath of this powerful storm that reached category four level before rolling ashore last Friday. The storm knocked out power to millions, isolated communities in several states, washed out bridges, roads and caused the structural collapse of dams in several states.
There has been no official response from either President Biden or Vice President Harris. President Biden chose to spend the weekend at the beach and Vice President Harris engaged in fundraising as part of her presidential bid.
Meanwhile, Presidential Candidate Donald Trump toured the hard-hit mountain areas of North Carolina along with Reverend Franklin Graham, and X (formerly Twitter) owner Elon Musk. Reverend Graham has intimate knowledge of those areas most affected in the by the storm. Elon Musk has stated, “Those communities that have no communications presently will be given access” to his Starlink satellite network for communications at no cost. The former President Trump seems to be doing the job that the current president and his replacement seem unable or unwilling to do on behalf of those Americans who have been most impacted by the massive storm.
This incompetent administration seems to have willing accomplices in the mainstream press, as well as with Democrat-leaning public officials, who condemned then President Bush for his perceived slow government response to Hurricane Katrina when it struck the Gulf Coast of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama in 2005.
There has been no public condemnation of the Biden/Harris administration for their apathy toward those affected in Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky. If we were to apply the same untruthful logic that the leftist Democrats applied during Katrina, we could make a strong argument that this administration hates God-fearing, gun-bearing, pro-nuclear family Americans, who rigidly oppose their ideology, and thus are less likely to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris in the November presidential election.
We must remember the words of Democrat political appointee Valerie Jarrett during the Obama administration who stated: ”We must reward our friends and punish our enemies.” As Vice President, Joe Biden was culpable and silent when President Obama sought to punish the State of Texas in 2011 during the devastating wildfires by failing to issue a national disaster area proclamation, simply because Senator Ted Cruz opposed his agenda.
The apathy toward the victims of Hurricane Helene disproves Harris’s word salad about being “Defenders of Democracy.” Marxist Democrats seek to punish those who may oppose their power, by any and every means available: including lawfare, character assassination, outright lies, disinformation, false labeling and even assassination itself.
But, in the dereliction of duty by Harris and Biden, once again former President Trump has shown he puts all Americans first and leads by his actions not words. He doesn’t show contempt for America’s citizenry by ignoring their suffering while giving the equivalent of thumbs to nose at those Americans they hate.
These suffering Americans deserve the same type of compassion from this administration that Biden and Harris have shown towards illegal aliens, Palestinians and Ukrainians. American citizenry should not be abandoned or forgotten because of their skin color or political or personal beliefs. They don’t deserve a thumb to the nose from the current President and Vice President.
