Classic Example Of Media Failing To Report
Yesterday both Dan Bubalo and I wrote exposing the misleading and dishonest tactics employed by the media, AKA the press. This morning a close friend and colleague wrote me sharing the tactics I warned you the media and politicians use to mislead you.
In my “Behind The P.C.” piece yesterday, I used Mark Ivancic, the managing editor of the Bradford Era, as a prime example of corruption at the highest levels of media. Specifically I wrote: “Mark Ivancic [managing editor of the Bradford Era newspaper] is one of the most wretchedly corrupt persons I have ever had the displeasure of coming in contact with, and that takes into account all my years in journalism. And I’m not [alone in] saying that about him. For raw dishonesty and contemptible ignorance, Ivancic’s character images that of Al Sharpton or Eric Holder….Which brings me to the heart of what Dan [Bubalo] was saying [yesterday] morning. Dan was warning people that the media is not to be trusted and seldom believed, and [I add] that is especially [true] of monosomic cretins like [Mark] Ivancic.” (http://newdailyrant.wpengine.com/fast-food-news/)
Dan and I are not taking on writing and/or saying the things we are because we’re mean-spirited, or because we are seeking applause. And we certainly aren’t doing it for the money. We are doing it because we care. We know of what we speak, and we know that it is our duty to make you aware.
I warned people as early as 2003 and 2004 that Obama was the most toxic form of elapid, but people didn’t listen. I warned people in 2001 of the attack the Christian church was going to face, and sure enough not one year later it happened. I wasn’t honored by the Marine Corps League because I was a nice guy; I was honored because I was one of the lone voices fighting for the Marines specifically and our military in general. I was frowned upon when I began to point out that Karl Rove and the Republican hierarchy weren’t to be trusted, and I darn sure wasn’t popular when I began to take George Bush to task. I was roundly criticized when I refused to help get McCain elected in 2008. I refused to be dressing on the stage at his speeches. And I darn sure didn’t win many popularity contests when I refused to support Romney in 2012. But I was right each of those times — as I am now — and I’ve been criticizing the media since 1998. But I wasn’t recognized as the Conservative Man Of The year in 2008 because I was trying to be popular. I was recognized because I fight for truth and justice for We the People.
Earlier today I told a pastor friend, who is also on the front lines in this battle, that I feel like Paul when he said, “for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel.” (1 Corinthians 9:16) Every position I take I can find scriptural support for. As can each of my colleagues in arms who contribute to TDR (The Daily Rant). I’m not perfect, and I’m certainly not without faults; but I know right from wrong, and I love my country.
And here is the latest proof of what Dan and I both warned you about yesterday. As I referenced earlier, a close friend and colleague wrote me this morning pursuant to a conversation we had been having. I indicated to him that time is the enemy of those who hate America and seek to fundamentally change our country. He responded: “I agree with you that time is their enemy in that the longer the healthcare stuff doesn’t clear up it will be a mess but the Republicans need to speak out on the issues related to this mess. It is no longer an issue in [the Easton, PA newspaper] the Express-Times and thus there is a cooling of the issue in the press [i.e., reporting] here…I want to see my representatives [Charlie] Dent [and Pat] Toomey, to [tell us] what is going on via town hall meetings. They are both in hiding. Toomey was supposedly in town last week. I sent an email to his assistant to get a meeting with him. I also want one with Dent…Just want you to know that guts are now using the standard government email. I picked off their home [email] addresses from the county records. [That’s the only way to] get mail to them.”
My friend gives the prime example of what is going on, and how the media works. The so-called mainstream media refused to report on my challenge to Marc Morial (Chairman, National Urban League), Al Sharpton, and Walter Fauntroy (co-founder, Congressional Black Caucus) to debate me three-on-one at the National Press Club pursuant to their fallacious complaints of racism. Hannity refused to promote my challenge to them, but not two weeks after my having held an empty-chair debate at the National Press Club, Hannity and Sharpton held their own debate that amounted to little more than a New York love fest, for which, I’m told, they charged admission.
The so-called mainstream media refused to report on the over 1.2 million Bikers who rode into Washington D.C.; this same so-called mainstream media refused to report on the Truckers who rallied in Washington D.C. There are many local papers, no longer reporting the facts and true opinion pursuant to obamacare, such as the Express-Times in Easton, (a part of the Lehigh Valley area of PA).
Misleading and misinformation accompanied by outright lying are what Mark Ivancic is guilty of. And specific to my oft-made point so, too are most of the print and cable news sources.
I have incessantly called for people to send first class mail with complaints to congress and the White House. I have warned that while emails and voicemails are, well, sorta, okay — they are easily and often ignored. You end up getting a canned response if that. But they have to pay attention to first class mail because it may contain donations.
We have got to fight smartly, and we must never, never give up. The battle is ours if we place our faith in God and stop rewarding dismal failures with reelection. I believe if we make Christ our Standard Bearer we can delay the inevitable ending that precipitates the Lord’s return for His Church. If we do not, forgidaboutit. We’re just marking time and spinning our wheels.
