‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Congressional Members Are Sexual Predators Not Judge Roy Moore

The relentless attacks against Judge Roy Moore, the “lightening rod” from Alabama who is contending for the vacated seat of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, aren’t taking place because of what Judge Moore is being accused of doing over 40 years ago. The scurrilous attacks are being conducted because the Republican elites are afraid of what Judge Roy Moore will do if he is elected.

The attacks on Judge Moore mirror the attacks Republican wraiths waged against Herman Cain when it appeared he had a strong chance of winning the Republican nomination in 2012.

Just as with Herman Cain, every couple of days another woman comes forward claiming some untoward act. Where are those dregs of society that the Republican operatives dredged from the sewers of humanity to accuse Mr. Cain? Do you recall how quickly they disappeared the moment Herman Cain announced he was dropping out?

It’s not Judge Moore who should drop out; it’s the corrupt elites who themselves are sexual predators, but who passed legislation in 1995 to keep action taken against them secret.

Where are the demands for Senator Robert Menendez, D-NJ, to step down after being indicted for corruption and bribery? Why no demands for Menendez to resign over allegations that he solicited underage prostitutes to satisfy his alleged preference for what amounts to sex with children?

James Nye, writing for the Daily Mail, UK, reported January 31, 2013, that a prostitute in the Dominican Republic said Menendez only “likes the youngest and newest girls.” The prostitute is alleged to have “attended sex parties with Menendez.” (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2271454/Senator-Bob-Menendez-likes-youngest-girls-says-Dominican-prostitute.html)

The allegations of impropriety against Judge Moore are just that, “allegations.” Menendez was actually indicted and taken to trial. The allegations against Judge Moore are unraveling daily.

Joshua Caplan, writing for The Gateway Pundit, November 13, 2017, said: “It’s A Fake. Analyst Says Judge Roy Moore’s Signature Inside Gloria Allred Accuser’s Yearbook Was Forged.” The article provides damning evidence supporting the forgery. One of the other accusers claimed that Judge Moore “spoke to her on her private line in her bedroom.” However, the accuser’s mother said “she didn’t have a private line or even a phone in her bedroom.” The mother stated: ”We had one phone for the family in the house.” We have learned that the woman accusing Judge Moore of sexual assault has a history of making false accusations against men in influential positions. Including making false accusations against three ministers.

Those are the allegations that have the Republican elites suddenly finding morality? Where is the moral outrage of Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Lindsey Graham, et al when it comes to the sexual assaults and sex being used to extort legislative votes in Congress?

Where is the cacophony of moral outrage regarding Al Franken, D-MN, who fantasized about drugging and raping “60 Minutes” contributor Leslie Stahl? What about the photos reportedly taken by Franken’s brother as Franken groped the breasts of sleeping Leeann Tweeden while returning from a USO event? This after he had forced himself upon her during the event – where is the outrage?

Rep. Jackie Speier, D-CA, told NBC’s Chuck Todd: “We do know there is about $15 million that has been paid out by the House on behalf of harassers in the last 10 to 15 years.” Speier also recently testified in front of the House Administration Committee that two members of Congress, a Republican and a Democrat, have engaged in sexual harassment in the past. (See: $15 Million in Taxpayer Money Has Been Paid Out To Settle Congressional Sexual Harassment Suits; ntknetwork.com; 11/14/2017)

Everyone who was aware of the predatory sexual conduct by the same elected congressional members now calling Judge Moore unfit, raise your hands.

These are not allegations; they are facts. Are we to believe that Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, the media, et al were unaware that there have been 260 documented complaints filed against elected officials in the last 20 years? Are we to believe that Congressional leadership wasn’t aware that $15 million taxpayer dollars was secretly paid in settlements? And these are the people claiming Judge Moore is unfit?

Why hasn’t Sean Hannity given them 24 hours to explain themselves? If Hannity’s such a tough guy and champion of the people, why doesn’t he demand Congress give us an answer.

A November 14, 2017, article by “thehill.com” reported: “Lawmakers describe pervasive sexual harassment on Capitol Hill.” Once again it is important to note that these are not mere allegations. This pattern of predatory sexual behavior in Congress continues uninterrupted.

Susan Jones writing for CNSNews.com reported that Rep. Barbara Comstock, R-VA, only days ago, told a House Administration Committee hearing: “A sitting member of the U.S. Congress exposed himself to a young female staffer who delivered papers to his house, at his request.” (See: Rep. Barbara Comstock: Member of Congress Exposed Himself to a Staffer; 11/15/2017)

The feigned outrage being directed at Judge Moore by Republican elites is tantamount to a scene in the movie Casablanca when Chief Renault tells Rick: “I’m shocked-shocked to find that gambling is going on in here;” seconds before the croupier walks over and hands Renault his gambling winnings.

It’s not Judge Moore who should drop out; it’s the corrupt elites who themselves are sexual predators, but who passed legislation in 1995 to keep action taken against them secret.
