Democrats Complain About The Rededication Of America
Writing for Zero Hedge, May 17, 2026, Tyler Durden, made the astute observation, that “it is important to take note of what leftists hate, because if they hate it, it’s probably good.”
Thus, it certainly comes as no surprise that a historic gathering by Americans of every background across the country, led by President Trump for the nation’s 250th birthday with Scripture, testimony, prayer, and rededication of our country as One Nation to God, would be rabidly cursed and condemned by the leftwing media and Democrats.
In calling for such a monumental show of reverential acknowledgement, President Trump has caused the godless defilers of everything our Founding Fathers held Constitutionally sacrosanct, to lose their minds, raging in unintelligible complaint and blasphemy.
The Freedom 250 Celebration did not include performances by transsexuals and grotesque drag queens. There were no petulant Somali’s who married their family members in order to fraudulently have them gain entrance into our country. There were no New York politicians who eat food with their hands while sitting cross-legged on the floor. This celebration was dedicated to God, unlike the one a certain mentally diminished president held at the White House, when men with breast implants exposed themselves and women with mustaches sashayed about. So it is easy to understand the angst now being displayed by the lunatic fringe.
The idea that Democrats and the leftwing media find this an assault on the Constitution is equally as deplorable and even more errant. Participation in the Freedom 250 Celebrations is the choice of individuals who love our country and who recognize the faith in God our Founding Fathers held foundational to the creation of America. We the People came together by choice not fiat.
John Adams said:
“The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity…I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God.” … “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
These truths are incontrovertible. They also attest to the fact that neither Communism nor Sharia Islam are compatible with our form of government and certainly antithetical to the Constitution of The United States of America. Neither is moral, and while Sharia is referred to as religious, it doesn’t hold a remote similarity to our Christian faith.
The anti-America leftwing detests the fact of “In God We Trust.” They’re committed to advancing the pernicious heterodoxy that anybody except the Pilgrims and our Founding Fathers were responsible for the creation of America.
Hence the reason for prostituting lies that America was stolen from the Indians and from Mexico. They even claim the lie that Moslems played a pivotal role in the creation and foundation of America. In factual truth the only role they played was in the creation of The Marine Corp Hymn. And then, only because Thomas Jefferson found it necessary to send the Marines into Tripoli and Montezuma to end Moslem pirating and raiding ships and to fight America’s first war waged outside our borders.
Progressives and revisionist writers of history are committed to the falsehood that Moslems built America. That said, I would be remiss if I did not note the main contribution of Moslems to America was their commercial involvement in the supply Africans captured, enslaved, and sold by the Ashanti and Dahomey, (modern day Ghana and Benin) Africans on the Ivory Coast. Moslems enabled by Africans were responsible for the commercialization of slaves to America.
It was the Democrats who commercialized slavery and it was W.E.B. Du Bois working with Russian Communist dictator Vladimir Lenin, who created and weaponized the lie of skin-color.
The fact that the agitprop leftwing media and Democrats curse those who love America tells us all we need know about them and their objectives. They decry free people joining together voluntarily to acknowledge and rededicate America to God, whose principles our Founding Fathers attested their unwavering adherence.
At the time of America’s founding, God was exalted by her leaders and Founding Fathers. As Durden, myself,/////. and many others have pointed out: it should be noted that there was, essentially, no other prominent religious groups beyond Christians recognized in the colonies at the time of the formation of the United States, aside from a small population of around 2000 Jewish settlers.
The fact that neo-Leninists, Democrats and progressives try to portray us as wrong for honoring the God our Founders served and the God we worship and serve today, proves they’re nothing more than haters of America and We the People.
The factual truth is, America was built by immigrants, but not by illegal aliens posing as immigrants. As Booker T. Washington said, and I paraphrase: the Africans brought here against their will by Moslems who bought them from other Africans, were undeniably better off they would have been in Africa, slavery notwithstanding. A Nation founded and built upon God, is empirically far greater than nations built upon religious terrorism and/or failed political constructs.
