Harris’ Politics Destroying Fabric of America by Robert Socha
We might disagree politically. I do not mind that we see things differently because those differences have historically made these United States strong and powerful. Still, I fear they are so polarizing in this political climate that they are tearing the fabric of our Republic asunder. Considering that the root word for Liberal is liberty, I appreciate why one would identify with its idealism. Nevertheless, the modern Democrat Party has strayed from individual liberty and responsibility to corporatism and government largess. I take solace in the strength of our Constitution and the silent majority coming out in force in November.
Concerning the current Democratic candidate for President, I am appalled at the disingenuous promotion of Kamala Harris and have a hard time reconciling her portrayal after such a dismal and unpopular performance in the Vice Presidency. I do not recognize the media’s current description of the woman that has not shown any depth of knowledge or understanding of the critical issues of our day. Her main job to maintain our border’s integrity has failed with inestimable damage to the Republic. Not only is she anything but a unifier, but with the most tie-breaking votes in our history, her Marxian rhetoric and godforsaken cackle are a constant reminder she will continue Obama’s mission to “fundamentally change” these United States and that change has not been for the better. My observation of her behavior in public offices from California to Washington, D.C., portrays a woman who relishes power and has admitted to using that power to go after her political opponents. Her behavior is befitting of a totalitarian regime and not one born of a Republic. She has openly celebrated her ability to ruin people’s lives with the stroke of a pen. I adamantly oppose such unbridled lust for power.
Additionally, the one achievement she has been claiming on the election trail, if you can call her efforts campaigning, is the tie-breaking vote she cast to pass the Inflation Reduction Act. The current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, surprisingly not on the beach in Delaware, has recently repudiated that claim by stating the above mentioned Act was the most significant climate change law ever and should have been called that. I wrote a scathing rebuke of her candidacy for these reasons and many more, especially the idea that mentally confused men can play women’s sports and use women’s facilities.
On the other hand, President Trump is in the fight of his life, quite literally, to work to return these United States to her founding principles of life, liberty, private property, God and philanthropy, personal responsibility, and the pursuit of happiness. Despite his many faults, he is the most sincere candidate in my lifetime to want to return power to the people our Constitution secures.
As a Christian, I cannot support a party that celebrates debauchery, ever-increasing government programs and largess, and abortion on demand. I can put my support behind a man who is strong and courageous, generous, a man who started no wars while sitting in the Oval Office working diligently to remove U.S. troops from unending occupations, and a man who has pledged himself to clean up an unaccountable bureaucracy that has thoroughly corrupted the halls of government.
