Have You Told Them? – Sunday Thought For The Day

Charles Spurgeon said: “You and I cannot be useful if we want to be sweet as honey in the mouths of men. God will never bless us if we wish to please men, that they may think well of us. Are you willing to tell them what will break your own heart in the telling and break theirs in the hearing? If not, you are not fit to serve the Lord. You must be willing to go and speak for God, though you will be rejected.”

How can we claim to love God and serve Him when we are ashamed and afraid to tell others about Him?  Imagine if you can, what America and the world would be like if Christians practiced and lived for Jesus.

It is not exaggeration to point out that many in the church today talk and share about everything, anything and anyone but Jesus.

If we truthfully love our God and Savior Jesus Christ let us live like it to the world.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
