He's Blowing Smoke
In football it’s called a “hail mary,” in politics it’s called desperation, and in the language you and I speak it’s called “blowing smoke in someone’s ear.”
In an on-air interview, Obama called Mitt Romney that which bulls deposit in fields with an “er” on the end. Such a display may be poor decorum and morally opprobrious but obviously not out of character for the thin-skinned Obama.
Tangential to that point, Obama is showing all the signs associated with the desperation of a man seeing it all slip away. So, as is the case with a desperate man, instead of putting together a cogent and reasoned plan that has a remote chance of working, Obama resorts to name-calling and ad hominem attacks.
Calling Mitt Romney names and making crude attempts to insult him are no more a plan to reverse the downward spiral we are facing than is blaming everything on George W. Bush. The truth is as I have said before — Obama has no plan to do anything different than he has been doing since taking office, i.e., play golf, play basketball, raise taxes and redistribute wealth.
Don’t take my word for it, take Obama’s word for it. What have you heard that suggests he will or for that matter that he is capable of changing his policies that have resulted in more people on food stamps, more people unemployed, more people on government assistance, ad nauseum? Have we heard him say one time that if he had done something different things would have worked out better and that he has learned his lesson and will correct his way of doing things?
Of course not. He attempted to belittle Mitt Romney during the third debate by talking about horse-drawn buggies and ships that go under the water. Does that sound like a plan of recovery to you?
I’m on record as questioning if Obama would crack under pressure and I believe we see that happening now. (http://www.wnd.com/2011/04/288657/) Look at his facial expressions and listen to how he interacts. Does he look or sound like a person fully in control of his emotions?
In that same article I referenced what those in his own party are saying:
Today, criticism is coming from all sides. A senior Democrat lawmaker said, “I have been very disappointed in [Obama], to the point where I’m embarrassed that I endorsed him. It’s so bad that some of us are thinking, is there some way we can replace him? How do you get rid of this guy?”’ (“Democrats’ Disgust with Obama,” The Daily Beast, April 15, 2011)
I repeat, “Obama cannot run fast enough to distance himself from his record.” So he is attempting to throw a “hail mary pass” by blowing smoke in our ears.
Obama said children were astute enough to recognize a bullsh***er when they heard one, but he apparently overlooked the fact that their parents are astute enough to recognize his behavior as that of a desperate man who is losing his grip on reality. The difference is that the parents of said children vote.
The only questions that remain are these: Will said parents correct the mistake they made in 2008? And just how close to having an emotional meltdown is Obama?
