‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

I Am Thankful by Robert Socha

Be thankful in all circumstances.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving Day, (a fantastic short read of the historical account of the first celebration can be found here) there are many things to be thankful for, many of which will be named herein. This list is not all-inclusive and may sometimes appear tongue-in-cheek, but my sincerity is assured.

First and foremost, I am thankful that being an unnatural branch, my Faith in the Christ, because He is, and the completed work of the Cross, being raised from the dead, grafts into Israel’s vine with a blessed assurance of a future and hope.

I am thankful to love a doting wife and our four beautiful children. I am delighted to include our sisters and grandparents, who keep us grounded and surround us with love. I am incredibly grateful for their lives, good health, encouragement, and the opportunity to celebrate together!

I am thankful for good friends and the camaraderie we share in navigating tumultuous times, bearing burdens, and being born for adversity.

I am thankful for the provision of a steady income, a lovely home, a wonderful community, clothes to wear, cars to drive, and food and wine to eat and drink.

I am thankful for the opportunity to live in this great land, serve my community in local government, and try to effect change.

I am thankful for the indictments against President Trump and his willingness to fight for the Truth to come to light, hopefully paving the way for corruption at the highest levels of government to be exposed, the exoneration of Donald Trump and his family, election integrity, and the true conspirators brought to justice.

I am thankful for the Left’s hypocrisy shown in all its divisiveness when China’s President Xi Jinping visited with the United State’s current administration in San Franciso last week. California’s inept governor revealed that they are aware that allowing homeless people to camp on city streets, defecating and defacing property, and rampant crime with no punishment is not conducive to international politics and must be disinfested. This simple act reveals two things: the Left knows these policies are wrong and destructive, and they can clean up the streets with immediate effect. Once upon a time, we collectively held our municipalities to this standard. I am glad we have opportunity to do so again.

I am thankful for filmmakers such as Dinesh D’Souza, Matt Walsh, Angel Studios, and more for bringing brilliant movies and documentaries on controversial subjects to the national conversation. In addition, men like Elon Musk and Tucker Carlson, who are willing to put their lives and fortunes on the line to extend the ability to speak freely online and able to sue and defend against unmitigated attacks on the forum are deserving of respect and thanks.

I am thankful for others like Mychal Massie, Joseph Farah, and many more, including some named above, whose uncompromised Christian faith compels them to action in the defense of the Truth in media, knowing it will set men free!

I will close by being thankful for a sound mind, a spirit of boldness and power, separating light from darkness and good from evil, recognizing apparent differences and the spiritual war raging continuously in the battle for souls.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV

Take action and share this!
