‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

In The Name Of Christ Stop by Robert Socha

I have been reading about men who gave themselves for the sake of the Kingdom of God throughout history from the first Apostles in the first century through the third century. Once, a Monk, Telemachus, walked into the Colosseum while gladiators were killing each other and was murdered because he said, “in the name of Christ, stop,” while he walked from the stands onto the field of battle, confronting the combatants and the “games.” It is recorded that was the last time gladiators met in that stadium to kill one another.

So now I say:
In the name of Christ, stop murdering children in the womb before they’re born. In the name of Christ, stop calling it a woman’s choice to take the life of an innocent child. In the name of Christ, stop ignoring that line in our Constitution’s preamble which states, “…and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.” Those unborn children are our posterity.

In the name of Christ, stop abusing our young women and men through pornography. In the name of Christ, stop using them for your own pleasure. In the name of Christ, stop exploiting the sexuality of our culture for profit and gain. In the name of Christ, stop giving in to the temptation to satisfy your own flesh on the backs of people who are, more often than not, being forced, used and abused. In the name of Christ, stop.

In the name of Christ, stop trafficking in humanity to exploit them for sexual purposes, prostitution and/or slave labor.

In the name of Christ, stop abusing narcotics, marijuana and alcohol.

In the name of Christ, stop using political powers and positions to spend hard-working taxpayer’s money to fund things which assuage guilt. In the name of Christ, stop growing government to do things for which it was never intended, at least in these United States, to do. In the name of Christ, stop, the threat of imprisonment and confiscation of wealth, demanding I support and fund things I do not agree with. In the name of Christ, stop expanding the scope of our government institutions beyond their constitutionally mandated means.

In the name of Christ, stop pretending the USA was not founded on Christian principles and birthed in Christian virtue.

In the name of Christ, stop murdering the innocent. In the name of Christ stop going into Churches, Synagogues, and Mosques and murdering those people who are there to worship. In the name of Christ, stop murdering each other on the streets of our cities, in our schools, universities, movie theaters and other public gatherings. In the name of Christ, stop!
In the name of Christ, stop demeaning people just because of the color of their skin; whether they are the whitest Nordic or the darkest African, or anywhere in-between. Let us celebrate the diversity of God’s creation in our humanity! In the name of Christ, stop calling people racist simply because their skin is lighter than yours. In the name of Christ, stop cursing and belittling others because their skin might be darker than yours. In the name of Christ, stop.

In the name of Christ, stop celebrating mental illness and telling a man he can be a woman because he chooses to castrate himself and changes his name. In the name of Christ, stop allowing biological males to compete against females in women’s events. In the name of Christ, stop ignoring X and Y chromosomes by allowing biological men to use biological women’s restrooms; and vice-versa. In the name of Christ, stop punishing people who will not acquiesce to this insanity.

In the name of Christ, stop silencing opinions just because they differ from yours, even if extremely offensive, or untrue. In the name of Christ, stop resorting to violence when you are confronted or choose to confront someone with whom you disagree. In the name of Christ, stop penning and promoting slanderous accusations against those with whom you disagree.

In the name of Christ, stop blaming others for your circumstances and take ownership of your decisions and your life. Shake the dust off your feet and move forward, forgetting those things that are behind; press on.

In the name of Christ, put on Love, for love covers a multitude of sins. Love keeps no record of wrong. Love is patient and kind. Love does not envy or boast. Love is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way. Love is not irritable or resentful. Love does not rejoice at wrong doing but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things. Love never ends.

But love never condones sinful behavior(s) and heretical usurpations which are contrary to the unchangeable word of God.

Take action and share this!
