Is President Trump The Gift of Time?
The following is an excerpt from my eBook titled: “Random Rants: I Was Right Then and I Am Right Now.” I share it today, to stress the point of where would we be at this very moment if we had not rallied in support of President Trump? And not that only; I thank God for giving us time. But the question that must be answered is time to do what?
As I was reading in the scriptures this morning, Psalm 33:12 jumped out at me. The Psalmist wrote, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…” (KJV) Therein you have it, I thought.
There was a time that ours was a blessed nation and that God was indeed our Lord. Non- essential stores and businesses were closed on Sundays. Ergo, people had time for church and family. There was a time that television westerns to sit-coms to family programming had as their central theme a standard of morality based on Judeo- Christian principles. There was a time that families provided for themselves; euthanasia of the elderly was unheard of; crime rates outside of Chicago, New York, and New Jersey were low, and, despite what Planned Parenthood would have us believe, women weren’t lining up in back alleys to impale their unborn children on coat-hangers.
The United States of America meant something; we were proud to be Americans. “Life, liberty, pursuit of happiness” – truth, justice, and freedom – were key components to our way of life. For the most part, government understood its role and stayed out of matters that concerned the state. But, there is a reason man was expelled from the Garden of Eden, and that same willing disobedience has haunted man ever since.
So it has been with America. The greatest nation in the world, perhaps even in history, has reached a point that we’ve come to trust in men to the near complete abandonment of trusting in God. We have become a nation that celebrates the coarsest form of debauchery – and pagan ritualisms such as the government sanctioned murder of 55 million children. Schools are cesspools for the breeding of diseased minds; respect for personal property and property rights has been trumped by out-of-control government intrusion, and God is acceptable in the public square only if He is the prefix for profanity.
Pastors have stopped preaching Jesus and embraced those things that would have been unthinkable on any level not so very long ago. And even more egregious, these things have become so pervasive that current generations have lost all understanding of from whence America has come. And now we stand on the precipice of collapse.
America is facing collapse of not only our historic traditions but also of our financial institutions, the public educational system, our military, and every institution we can point to. Our healthcare system was the finest in the history of the world – but thanks to the corrupt and baneful logic of the Communist-inspired, complicit with those who embrace the idea of something for nothing (or at the very least something which someone else pays for), we face the collapse of medicine, in this country, as we have known it.
But, have we learned? I argue we have not. We hear people every day claiming to be praying for God to take back the country but not realizing we are doing everything in our
power to ensure that doesn’t happen. We cannot continue to re-elect those who brought us to this level of destruction just as we cannot continue to elect those like them. Religion in this country has come to mean anything but Christ, and individual responsibility has been exchanged for that which is convenient.
The Psalmist was right, and the fact that the further we remove ourselves from God, the further we remove America from God. The end result of these actions assures us a place on the ash heap of history and we won’t be the first great nation to end up there for the same reasons. We’ll simply be the greatest to end up there.
The aforementioned was the direction we were heading before Donald Trump became our President. That said, I would be remiss if I did not say, it’s not that we are no longer as a nation moving in the wrong direction; it is that I believe the inevitable has been delayed.
With the stench of crime and corruption clinging to Hillary Clinton like wet bathroom tissue to the side of the toilet, imagine if you can or dare, what it would be like at this very moment had she won.
Imagine how she would have handled North Korea. Imagine how she would have handled the Paris Accords. Imagine how she would have handled the Iran nuclear agreement. Imagine how she would have handled illegal aliens and open borders. Imagine how she would have handled the Second Amendment thus far. Imagine what economic growth would be like. Imagine what unemployment would be like. Ask yourself what the chances are that we would be experiencing job growth and companies reinvesting in America, added to the companies returning to reopen factories stateside. Ask yourself what the chances are that American workers would have received unexpected bonuses this past Christmas?
If sane people are appalled by what George Soros funded social-Marxist groups are doing despite Donald Trump being President; imagine what they would be doing if Hillary had won.
Neo-Leninist leaders around the world may not like President Trump but they respect him and that means they once again respect us. Israel need not wonder if America will abandon her or if some polyester politician will back Israel into a corner that she must fight to extricate herself from.
Ultimately the future of the world is in the hands of biblical prophecy. However, for the time being God has blessed us with time. But it is time we must use wisely. And the wisest way to use it is by making sure we know where we will spend eternity and to reach as many of our family members and friends as we can with the same urgency.
As I said, biblical prophecy is the immutable word(s) of God. They are unchangeable. That means whether anyone believes it or not and whether people call me a “bible thumper” or any other name(s) they want. Biblical prophecy tells us that this earth is going to be destroyed by fire. We have time today but the only guarantee of time we have is the very last breath we took. Our next breath is neither promised nor guaranteed.
I believe that God has given us Donald Trump as President to give us time. But extra time is only of benefit if it is used wisely. Let the unbelievers laugh, because the day awaits that they will beg for more time and there will be none.
