Is This The Reason Republican Leadership Secretly Supporting Obamacare?
I’ve been saying from the very beginning that obamacare is just another thinly veiled Ponzi scheme designed and intended to bail out Medicaid by preventing it from going bankrupt. Which, for all intents and purposes, it all but has, but let me back up and share a few of the points I made with Neil Cavuto.
Neil and I were discussing Social Security and its imminent collapse and Obama claiming “Social Security is not in crisis; it just needs some modest adjustments.” Well, he was lying then, and he has also been lying about obamacare from the outset. But, again, I’m getting ahead of myself.
During my appearance with Neil, I said that Obama’s claim that Social Security needed “modest adjustments” was code-speak for “raise taxes.” I pointed out that there were only three ways to prevent the collapse of Social Security: “raise payroll taxes, raise the retirement age, or raise taxes on businesses.” And as I noted then, raising taxes on businesses would “result in higher consumer prices.” I also indicated that Paul Ryan had said, “D.C. has long been aware that Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security would go bankrupt and in so doing take the budget and economy of the nation with them.” I also said to Neil that 80 million people would be going on Social Security in the next 20 years, which was a rate of over 10,000 per day. Neil and I agreed “[Congress and Obama] continue to kick the can down the road” with people deemed to be knowledgeable claiming that Social Security is just fine and soon the public starts to believe it’s just scare-mongering by Republicans when they warn about the insolvency of Social Security. Which, for the most part, is exactly what has happened. As I said to Neil, “Those chickens are coming home to roost and unfortunately they have no rungs to put their feet on in the hen house.” I said then that the reason Obama was pushing obamacare was to have young people sign up and foot the bill to save Medicare and Medicaid. Neil agreed saying, “the dirty little secret is that you save Medicare presumably from going belly up by laying over a system that hides that reality.”
Now fast forward, and as I said at that time in August 2010, those chickens have come home to roost, and America is sinking while Obama blames his plummeting poll numbers on racist white people who hate having a black man as president.
Barbara Hollingsworth from CNSNews quoted economist John Goodman “who warned last October that Obamacare could plunge into a ‘death spiral’ if not enough young, healthy people signed up for coverage.” (Obamacare At ‘Significant’ Risk of ‘Death Spiral,’ Economist Warns; cnsnews.com; 1/17/14)
And that is exactly what has happened and is happening. Obamacare is in a “death spiral – the insurance pool equivalent of bankruptcy – occurs when too many older and sicker people sign up for insurance relative to the number of younger, healthier people,” Goodman explained, “forcing everybody’s premiums up. But as premiums rise, even less young people sign up for coverage.”
This is the dirty little secret that neither Obama or Congress want you to know. This, I argue, are the reason Karl Rove and the Republican so-called leadership is secretly working behind the scenes to ensure obamacare is fully implemented as the law of the land. They are a craven horde white knuckled with fear that when this house of cards collapses a Republican will be in the White House and that said collapse will destroy any hope of another Republican majority for elections to come.
I say that, instead of betraying us, they should be working to support Ted Cruz and those who understand what is truly at stake. They should be having an open and truthful presentation ad nauseum of the facts.
It turns out that 80 percent of the people who have signed up for obamacare are already receiving government subsidies, which is simply added ballast to a sinking ship.
This, I argue, is also the reason Rove, et al. are so antagonistic toward the Tea Party people. They fear we will upset their wagon of deceit. But that’s only part of the problem. Because Republicans did nothing to stall and/or derail obamacare when they had the opportunity the alternatives are not pleasant, but they are necessary. The only viable alternative is for people to suffer momentarily by cutting this cancer out now or else wait until the entire private sector market is destroyed and then try to jury rig something together. (And the choir sang: “good luck with that.”)
People cannot imagine how bad things are going to get. Political parties will blame one another while they do nothing, and Obama will claim it was the fault of others because if what he had planned would have been carried out all would have been okay. Which, of course, will be untrue, but what else would we expect from him?
Not enough young people are signing up to fund this Ponzi scheme, and, agree or not, that is our one true hope. Without young people signing up, this house of cards will collapse. Yes, that means that Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security are going to go bust. But, as I said, I believe that might save our future. Because when those things go bust neither Congress nor the Oval Office will be able to kick the can down the road. When that happens, all talk of amnesty and sanctuary cities for illegal aliens will disappear.
Congress, even as Democrats savaged George W. Bush’s proposal that individuals be allowed to invest a portion of their own Social Security dollars, was fully aware that we were headed for a collapse because Congress had essentially drained the Social Security coffers of the monies that had been placed inviolate in their trust. But violate it they did, and now they continue to lie and mislead We the People because they fear losing their positions.
Let me remind you again — the idea of a working website is a blind to fool people into signing up for obamacare. Signing up simply prolongs the inevitable and makes collapse that much more imminent and painful. Rather to endure some pain now than what I, without hesitation, assure you is coming if Obama and Congress have their way.
