‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Is this what they call leadership?

June 18, 2011

I can’t speak for your thoughts and/or feelings, but, for me, watching this so-called golf summit w/ team “the constitution doesn’t apply to me” obama and team “I can’t wait to cave-in” boehner – is a joke. Just how stupid do they think we are? Our nation is broke, our currency is for all purposes valueless, social security will be bust in a few yrs, the housing market is upside down and getting worse, unemployment is rising, no jobs, and the so-called leadership goes out to play golf – under the guise of acting in our interest, under the guise of solving national problems – it is an insult. Is this the respect, is this the kind of concern our impending national catastrophe deserves? It just doesn’t get must more disgraceful and insulting than this. This isn’t the behavior of those who care about us or the nation as a whole. That obama would treat things w/ such low regard, is indicative of his attitude as a whole, that boehner, et al, would go along w/ this charade, validates what I have been saying – they all need to go. Our impending financial collapse demands more than a golf-summit w/ cigars and beer. This borders on the ultimate “screw you,” at a time we’re supposed to believe republicans are holding obama accountable and acting in our interest. It’s time to fire them all.
