Isn't It Interesting?

I find it interesting that Obama has been actively leading the way to deprive us of our Second Amendment rights in the aftermath of the Newtown, CT school shootings.

I find it interesting because neither Obama nor his Justice Department, or for that matter neither his State Department nor Homeland Security, offered any more than fleeting and passing interest in getting to the bottom of Fast and Furious and the murders of Jaime Zapata and Brian Terry. And he has hardly been out front in uncovering why he permitted Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Glenn Doherty, and Tyrone Woods to be murdered in Benghazi.

Speaking of which, Benghazi is now securely buried in the ash heap of media interest, which is exactly what I said would happen. Which also supports my “Daily Rant” from yesterday titled “Editors and Producers: Masters Of Agitprop,” but I digress.

Of course we should mourn the loss of life at Newtown. But what about the families of the border agents who were murdered with guns Obama, et al, were responsible for putting in the hands of the most dangerous drug cartels in the world? What about the families of the hundreds of Mexicans who were murdered by the guns Obama’s administration placed in their hands?

Shouldn’t Obama be more interested in the thousands of true assault weapons his administration was responsible for placing in the hands of Mexican terrorist drug cartels? Shouldn’t he be more concerned about those weapons from Fast and Furious being smuggled back into this country and delivered to dangerous Latino gangs operating in our cities?

Another question we might demand Obama answer is why he moved to have his office block the investigations into Fast and Furious. Shouldn’t we demand Obama explain why he along with Susan Rice and other government officials blatantly lie about what happened in Benghazi?

Does it not seem atleast a little incredulous that Obama is pursuing the deprivation of our Second Amendment rights but doing nothing to flesh out the truth about Fast and Furious and the Benghazi murders?

I submit Obama’s speech and his plans to “control firearms” are nothing more than a blind. If we want to control our firearms, we can use two hands or adjust our grip. What we need is for criminals considering committing a crime involving a gun to rethink their plan because the majority of the people wherever the criminal is, are armed.

Obama has set us up to be stripped of our Second Amendment rights, and I guarantee Congress will be right there saying we need a compromise. We do not need a compromise on the Constitution. There are over 22,000 gun laws today in the US; which one of them stopped the criminal from committing a crime with a gun? However the places where criminals know the citizenry are armed, or more than likely armed are to them like garlic to a vampire.

Obama proposes a 10-round limit on mags as if that would make a bit of difference for criminals. Do he and his sycophants presume criminals will rid themselves of high cap mags? The only persons who will be placed at a disadvantage will be you and I, and the law enforcement officer who gets in their way.

Not one thing Obama proposed today will make a zit’s worth of difference to the criminals. Depriving our right to own semi-automatic rifles is not going to take the fully automatic weapons out of circulation that his administration is responsible for putting into circulation.

Here’s another point that needs to be made: How many murders is Obama’s illegal gun-running operation responsible for in a short few months juxtaposed to the number of persons murdered by legal firearms owners? Has the overzealous, biased media (Fox News included), taken the time to flesh out those numbers? Has the media looked into how many of the guns from Obama’s illegal gun-running operation have surfaced around the world? How many people have the guns of Fast and Furious been used to murder in Columbia, San Salvador, and Guatemala?

People are blind, dumb and foolish if they, for one moment, believe this is about gun control; it is about people control and it is far easier for Obama’s government to do that if the people are unarmed.
