It's my money: I don't want obama's wasting it
Someone tell me why we’re paying millions of dollars for michelle obama to go to africa to do pushups and kick soccer balls. I cannot say strongly enough or often enough that you lead by example and the example obama is sending is that he and his family are going to live life large on the taxpayers dime. He routinely and repeatedly has ostracized the so-called rich. He condemns big business, he publicly criticizes industry titans and CEOs for the bonuses that their boards/shareholders approved for them. He fomented public criticism against CEOs based on their income and bonuses as somehow being unfair. But, he sees nothing wrong w/ his family traveling the world living it up, under the guise of good will visits. America is on the brink of financial collapse, just this morning I heard him say we all need to share in the sacrifice to recover. Is this his idea of personal sacrifice? Michelle obama has told students to avoid going into high paying corporate jobs, choosing instead to be teachers and nurses. Then we witness this behavior. I am offended and outraged by these people. I know that there are those who believe as the first family they are entitled to this kind of lifestyle, but I beg to differ. They are not entitled, they are servants of the people. The mainstream media and leftist pundits criticized Nancy Reagan for the dresses she wore, they attacked Sarah Palin in the same way. They criticized Bush for spending time on his ranch and Ronald Reagan for spending time on his ranch, but they are silent about the behavior of the obamas. They compare michelle obama to Jackie Kennedy, but when in her life was Jackie Kennedy photographed in public wearing slacks w/ panty-lines resembling crevices in the Grand Canyon? What first lady in history went on a so-called good will trip and was photographed doing pushups and dancing around like something on the streets of the ghetto? First ladies throughout history, behaved in a way that brought dignity and honor to their position – can you honestly say she’s doing that? This is just one more example of behavior that resembles a people who view themselves above everyone else. It’s my money (and yours) that they are spending to behave like this. We need leadership and we’re not getting it from them. They must go.
