John Boehner's Canned Response Is Insult To American Voters

John Boehner sent a brochure to Ohio voters very early in February of this year. In his brochure he made claims that were demonstrably fallacious and misleading. I rebutted his comments.

Following is what Boehner claimed in his email and my initial response to same can be found here on the debate page. I then forwarded Boehner the following letter:

Dear Mr. Speaker:

My name is Mychal Massie. I am a syndicated op-ed columnist, publisher of The Daily Rant, and an ordained minister.

In lieu of comments attributed to you in your campaign brochures, I am inviting you to debate same with me in a Facebook discussion scheduled for Thursday, May 8, 2014, at 3:00 PM eastern.

We believe it is important for voters to know why they should continue to support you.

The day after the proposed date for Boehner or one of his surrogates, to take part in a Facebook debate pursuant to the positions he articulated in his brochure, I received the following canned response from Boehner’s office. The laughable thing is, had I written saying he I was incensed by his failures as Speaker of the House, this is the response I would have gotten. The condemnable thing is, I wrote out of concern for his failures and this is the response I got. The following canned response proves my point that Boehner and the Rove Republicans are not listening to us and have no concern for what is important to us and/or what we think. So tell me again why we shouldn’t do our all to unseat him.
