Karl Rove Once Again Showing His True Self
In my December 28, 2015 opinion piece, I wrote: “The Karl Rove and Reince Priebus led establishment Republicans and their sycophants have used a series of polls with highly questionable, if not outright fallacious, findings in an attempt to use one of their most successful “vote control” tactics. Said tactics being that if we do not elect their bad Republican candidate a bad Democrat will win.”
The fact that Rove et al were wrong then hasn’t prevented him and his cabal of backstabbing RINOs from continuing to try. Rove’s current targets are anything and everyone connected to President Trump.
His current prognostications are that Ken Paxton will lose if he doesn’t debate his opponent James Talarico. Excuse me, but Rove doesn’t have an ounce of credibility with me. If he predicted the sky was falling and it actually fell; I would call it an act of God, not an accurate Rove prediction.
I’m certainly no fan of Matt Corley, but even a broken cloak is right twice a day. Corley exposed Rove’s record of prediction failure in an embarrassing piece August 13, 2007:
“Rove’s reputation as a “brilliant” political prognosticator belies his track record of grossly getting it wrong on his major predictions:”
1) In 2006, roughly a week before the midterm election, Rove predicted “a Republican Senate and Republican House” by claiming sole access to “THE math.” [NPR, 10/24/06]
2) In November of 2000, Rove claimed the “election will not be close.” Rove predicted Bush will “win enough states to get about 50 more Electoral College votes than he needs to win. Rove also predicted Bush will get about 50 percent of the popular vote, with Gore at about 45 percent.” [Houston Chronicle, 11/6/00]
3) During the 2000 primary campaign, Rove declared: “We’re going to win New Hampshire,” referring to the Republican primary. [USA Today 1/25/00]
Suffice it to say his powers of correct observation have not improved. Rove is a propagandist of the highest order. His shtick is that he, like the majority of his kind, pontificate with a believable false narrative.
Ask yourself, just what has Rove accomplished for true conservatives since he was on the scene when George Bush defeated Al Gore? The answer is, nothing!! Talk is cheap and Rove is full of talk. And, he’s the prince of traitors to We the People who are true conservatives. This didn’t just happen. He has been a fake and a fraud masquerading as a conservative as far back as I can recall. He gets away with it by using Gestapo tactics against candidates he and his cabal do not favor. Ask yourself why, supposedly conservative jurists rule against common sense and the best interest of America so often?
On November 19, 2013, I wrote in my syndicated opinion piece titled, “Rove and McConnell Using Gestapo Tactics Against Tea Party,” I wrote:
“Have you put into context what the Republican Party [did] to Tea Party people and every other group that dares represent the interest of the people? [It was the exact same thing that they are attempting to do to M.A.G.A. now.]
Think about the following: it’s not new; I’ve been saying it for a long time, but because it’s important I’m going to say it yet again in another way. Karl Rove is on record making it expressly clear that no candidates will receive one red cent of campaign help from his 527 PACs. Mitch McConnell, R- Ky, praised the defeat of a Tea Party candidate in South Alabama. McConnell is the ranking Republican in the Senate, and he is responsible for accomplishing little more than bringing in large caches of money for himself and those like him since he has been in office. And I’m not interested in hearing that Democrats have had the majority in the Senate blah-blah-blah. Two Democrats with a stone and a bucket of creek water could stymie Republican efforts.
McConnell called for other Republicans to boycott companies who support Tea Party candidates, and he has also made it clear that no Tea Party candidates will receive a dime of campaign help. The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) served notice to Jamestown Associates, one of the most prominent Republican advertising firms, that it would no longer be receiving contracts with the campaign committee because it also works with the Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF). The SCF helps fund, among other conservatives, Tea Party candidates. The message is clear that McConnell, Rove, Boehner, and the Republican establishment are going to every length to ensure that only those they approve of have a chance of getting elected. The NRSC is infamous for supporting and funding the most notorious left-wing Republicans such as Charlie Crist, R-FL.”
November 2, 2011, I wrote:
1992 George H. W. Bush presidential campaign Rove was fired from the 1992 Bush presidential campaign after he planted a negative story with columnist Robert Novak about dissatisfaction with campaign fundraising chief Robert Mosbacher Jr. (Esquire Magazine, January 2003). Novak provided some evidence of motive in his column describing the firing of Mosbacher by former Senator Phil Gramm: “Also attending the session was political consultant Karl Rove, who had been shoved aside by Mosbacher.” Novak and Rove deny that Rove was the leaker, but Mosbacher maintained that “Rove is the only one with a motive to leak this. We let him go. I still believe he did it.”[25] During testimony before the CIA leak grand jury, Rove apparently confirmed his prior involvement with Novak in the 1992 campaign leak, according to National Journal reporter Murray Waas.[26]
Rove is now blanketing Texas with interviews in gregarious attempt to portray Paxton as being bereft of morality. Rove’s attempt to destroy Paxton transcends anything he moralized about Obama and Bill Clinton.
Rove should be very careful attacking others on issues of morality. He himself has been divorced twice and the rumors surrounding his moral fiber, I’m sure he wouldn’t want exposed for public consumption. Suffice it to say, no one would accuse him of being a saint.
Maybe we should start talking about how Rove lied and ran cover for George Bush to hide the truth that Bush was big spending, globalist and pro amnesty. Also that Laura Bush only pretended to be pro-life.
We are all familiar with the old adage about people living in glass houses.
