‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Living For Jesus Like We Did For The Devil – Sunday Thought For The Day

In his journal the late Francis Asbury wrote: “My desire is to live more to God to-day than yesterday, and to be more holy this hour than the last.”  If we are true born-again Christians those words should resonate through our entire being.

I’m not praising myself, because the Lord knows how often I have dropped the proverbial ball so to speak; but, my commitment to my Father in heaven, is that by the power of His Holy Spirit who dwells withing me, I will live to the fullest extent I can for Him.

I want to live as zealously for God as I did for the devil before I was saved.  I want to live in Truth, the way I lived in lies before I came to Christ.

How about you?  Do you want to live for God or get saved and commit to being a carnal Christian who continues to live more for the devil than God?  Living for God to fullest extent possible, will change every area in which we frequent and/or live, notwithstanding make our church a better, more Christ centered place.  It will also make others want to know more about our Jesus, which in turn will result in more people being saved, edified and more God conscious.

All who agree say Amen!!

READ:

1 John 3:4-10 (KJV)

4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
