‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Madness Is Knocking At The Door by Robert Socha

Christian, prepare yourself!

Over the weekend in Reading, Pennsylvania, the local police arrested a man attending a “Pride” event for holding a sign stating “Sin no more” and quoting a Bible verse. The arresting officer’s justification is that he was yelling derogatory comments and disrupting the event. This video is evidence to the contrary.

This officer unintentionally set a new standard for the justification of detainment of a person disrupting an event. There is ample video evidence of people disagreeing with Christian and conservative commentators yelling and disrupting their sanctioned events. Has the statute of limitations expired on holding them accountable for their actions? If not, will this type of justice in these cases be served? Or, better yet, will officers serve this type of justice at conservative events in the future?

I know that no one will ever go back and view those videos, find the perpetrators, and arrest them for daring to yell and disrupt an event that a conservative commentator is hosting. I doubt this will affect any change moving forward because it is socially acceptable to defame, malign, mock, interrupt, and try to cancel men and women whose speech dares to defy the demonic hegemony that defines what is socially acceptable in our culture. It is clear that speaking Biblical truths is taboo and will soon be completely verboten.

What was the offending Scripture? “God is not the author of confusion.” (1 Corinthians 14:33)

I understand why the police would choose to arrest a man who quotes this Scripture for disrupting an event that sanctions sodomy. Please afford me a quick explanation. The acronym defending such deleterious behavior is confusing, so if God is not the author of this confusing acronym, then he’s not the author of its deviancy. And if God doesn’t approve or authorize this debauchery, he must naturally oppose it. If God opposes the behavior, it logically follows that it is condemnable. And if people’s behavior is condemned by God himself, that would call for repentance which a hedonistic culture will refuse. Homosexuals loathe being held Biblically accountable for their actions and take any means necessary to excuse and reinforce this lifestyle choice contrary to nature.

This prevailing cultural madness is likely why most mainline Christians hide behind the malarkey and cry God is love instead of confronting and correcting that behavior through the very love they profess. True love does not allow destruction. Jesus Himself sat down with sinners not to condone their behavior but to draw them to repentance with the exhortation to “go and sin no more.” Instead, we must honor Biblical values, endeavor to live up to its standards, and steel our resolve to confront and oppose this culture’s madness unashamedly with the hope that grows through enduring hardship.

Celebrating men dressing in womanface and allowing their participation in women’s sports is confusing.

Allowing and encouraging children’s mutilation because they are sexually dysfunctional is confusing.

Taking precious time out of a school day to dance and sing encouraging homosexual lifestyle in a public school is confusing.

Celebrating and lauding riotous behavior as an acceptable form of protest is confusing.

Using sympathetic prosecutors and the judicial system to go after political opponents is confusing.

Allowing unfettered access to the United States is confusing.

God is not the author of any of these things. We must prepare to face the fiercest backlash when confronting such effrontery. “And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” (Acts 4: 29-30)
