‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Megyn Kelly Views Donald Trump Ticket For Advancement

March 23, 2016

For one who is supposed to be smart, Megyn Kelly behaves more like someone with a stunted intellectual capacity. It’s either that or she doesn’t grasp the basic tenet that: “You don’t spit into the wind, you don’t pull on Superman’s cape, and you don’t intentionally go out of your way to antagonize Donald Trump.”

Being a box-blonde and discussing sexual intimacy in graphic detail between herself and her husband on the Howard Stern Show may be what FoxNews considers a journalistic credibility, but many, myself included, find Kelly wholly lacking in anything remotely tangential to journalistic ability and/or integrity.

A journalist doesn’t behave like Kelly. A journalist doesn’t go out of their way to embarrass and attempt to destroy a candidate’s political aspirations because party hacks direct them to – unless of course they are Megyn Kelly. (See: Debate Wasn’t First Time Megyn Kelly Maliciously Attacked; newdailyrant.wpengine.com; 8/13/2015)

But like most of her kind Kelly foolishly thought she was immune from condemnation and being held accountable for her actions. It has been confirmed that she went out of her way in an attempt to destroy Donald Trump’s political campaign, only to find out that Trump doesn’t cower and genuflect to those who attack him.

After months of Kelly using the program she hosts and the FoxNews Republican debates as bully pulpits intended to “Stop Trump” the only thing she had to show for her Erebusic and unprofessional behavior was a “ticked off” Donald Trump.

Confronted with the wrath of Trump, Kelly now cowers behind FoxNews which is trying to advance the narrative that: “Donald Trump’s vitriolic attacks against Megyn Kelly and his extreme, sick obsession with her is beneath the dignity of a presidential candidate who wants to occupy the highest office in the land.”

The problem with their attempt to advance that falacious narrative is that they glaringly and purposefully omit what I wrote in my opening paragraph. Kelly went out of her way to antagonize and embarrass Trump even as she boasted prior to one of the early debates that she was going to end “someone’s presidential aspirations” (insert Donald Trump).

It is doubtful that I would agree on what time of day it was with news journalists Katie Couric, Barbara Walters, and Gwen Ifill. But these three liberal journalists possess an air of dignity and sophistication, a “je ne sais quoi” if you will. Kelly comes across cheap and earthy.

Had Kelly done her job in a respectful and professional manner there would have been no need for FoxNews to attempt to paint Trump as a man who mistreats women. And let there be no doubt – that is a large part of the narrative they are pushing.

Nowhere is it written that Trump must silently tolerate the scurrilous attacks by Kelly without defending himself. It speaks to Kelly’s hubris that she believed she could poke a bear and not have that bear later evacuate her from its system as the byproduct of digestion.

What little respect I had for FoxNews fully disappeared in May of 2012 when the so-called cable news network refused to fire Jehmu Greene. Greene is the racist colored woman who has been kept around to balance the amount of melanin Fox needs to display on air.

Greene is a FoxNews contributor whose propensity for hurling racist epithets at white male guests and advancing the mantra that white people are out to get blacks is apparently the only requirement pursuant to the curriculum vitae Greene needed. But alas, Greene is a colored woman, and how often have we been told that her kind aren’t the recipients of quality education – ergo we can expect her to resort to such boorish attacks.

FoxNews showcases racists like Greene who joked on air about drowning Ted Cruz and John Boehner. Greene called Tucker Carlson a “bow-tying white boy” while appearing on Megyn Kelly’s show May 2012. Kelly grinned as she pretended to give a disclaimer at the show’s end to the effect that Fox doesn’t condone blah-blah. However, not only did Greene not receive any sanctions whatsoever, she has been given a tacit stamp of approval to continue her racism motivated diatribes.

Kelly is sophomoric and an embarrassment to journalistic integrity. The grand dames of journalism could never be accused of acting and behaving like Kelly at any time in their career.

It is not Trump who is obsessed with Kelly. It is Kelly who is obsessed with the idea of advancing her career at Trump’s expense and the expense of others she is told to attack by the nefarious Party hacks who fight to maintain the status quo.
