‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

More Than A Book of Fables — Sunday Thought For The Day

April 14, 2018

Despite what some people say and/or believe about God’s Word, i.e., the Holy Bible, those of us who have accepted Christ as our Savior understand that the Bible does not begin: “Once upon a time.”

The Bible begins: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1, KJV)

The Bible is not a fairy-tale book collection of fables and make-believe stories. It is the Holy Spirit inspired “Word of God.” It is the factual accounts of Biblical history and the true accounts of God working through history to the end of time as we know it. For those of us who have accepted Christ as our Savior it our source of truth, comfort, and instruction.

For those who do not believe, it is a book of fairy tales. However, the question that unbelievers should ask themselves is: “What if we as believers are right?”

My point is this; for the sake of argument even if believers aren’t right, the odds are still in our favor because our fall back as the saying goes is: “No harm, no foul.” But if those who do not believe are wrong, and they are wrong, there remains no hope for them because they have rejected Christ.

If I were one of those who disbelieve, I would consider that thought. Their eternal future depends upon it.

READ:2 Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV)
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
