‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

My Salute To Veterans

November 11, 2014

In recognition of Veterans Day, and to all those who have served, both past and present, I raise a personal salute. I am proud of your willingness to place your lives on hold and in many instances to relinquish your dreams in order to defend The United States of America. I am awed by your courage and indebted to you for the examples of true patriotism so many of you today, as with those before you, showed and have shown.

I salute you for your willingness to stand in harm’s way to protect those who could not protect themselves and to defend those with whom freedom and national security were your only commonalities. For those who served in times of peace, I salute you for being the strong deterrent who protected this great nation.

It is with honor that I thank you all and acknowledge your service. Our military is not a collective of undisciplined marauders who inflict pain, suffering, and death for pleasure as some would accuse. Our military is not about sexual immorality, perversion, and debauchery as some would try to transform it into today. Our military is not about political correctness and the deconstruction that it is experiencing today. Nor is our military about shameful and dishonorable politicians who, if allowed, will transform the Armed Forces into the reprobate likeness of themselves.

Our military is about pride, honor, selflessness, distinction, commitment, love for God, country, and family, and an understanding that you are the strong defense that protects America and her citizens from the wolves of aggression who would harm us.

America was built upon the belief in freedom and the belief that in God we trust. I salute you for your service in defending and thus far insuring those beliefs. Thank you.
