‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

I'll bet you didn't know these things

November 3, 2011

I’ve been thinking (always a dangerous thing), about the media and reporting. I have for many years argued the media doesn’t report, they sway opinion and polarize. And the more sordid the issue, the more aggressively they go after it.

In my Thursday morning live daily rant with Craig Henne, on WPBR 1340 AM in Palm Beach, Florida I said, that I was now convinced that those responsible for reporting the news, had long ago ceased to do so, if in fact they ever really did. I said that it was my opinion that long ago, those charged with reporting the news had ceased to do their job. What this media has done with a straight face to Herman Cain is unconscionable. Their reporting of the Clarence Thomas hearing were nothing short of the high-tech lynching of a principled man.

To that end I moments ago did a bit of checking. Do you know who Vera Baker is? Do you know about her alleged relationship with Obama in 2004? Of course not. I did a quick google and found that of the 1,060,000 hits for her and Obama, not one of the sources on the first six pages of google information was by one mainstream paper or cable channel – not one.

I did another search for Vera Baker and Obama, and found Baker was the misdirection for those inside Obama’s camp, who didn’t want his alleged homosexual affair with Reggie Love reported. Did Fox, CNN, MSNBC, Poltico, et al, demand Obama talk about that? Supposedly Maureen Dowd hinted at the homosexual relationship between Obama and Reggie Love. I can’t say, I don’t read Dowd since I found it necessary to put her in her place in my column “There’s a Foul Pen Blowing” (http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=33466).

Political Bullsh*t Techniques

Did you know that there Michelle Obama had taken steps to seek a divorce from Obama? Rumors flourished that she had started proceedings prior to moving into the White House, then there were sources saying she was giving serious consideration to divorcing him before 2012. Did you hear about that?

Talk to your lawyer or randomly choose any lawyer and ask them about surrendering their law license. My lawyers tell me a lawyer would rather stab his mother and sell his children than voluntarily surrender his license to practice law. So why have both Obama and Michelle, two of the most capable lawyers in Chicago (if we are to believe what the media says), voluntarily surrendered their law licenses? Why isn’t the media looking into that? Shouldn’t they be concerned about the people running the country and if they behaved in a way that necessitated surrendering their law licenses might adversely affect how they govern?

Do you know which Congresswoman’s husband profited to the tune of tens of millions of dollars from the Iraq War and Halliburton even as she was blasting President Bush over Halliburton and Black Water? Of course not because the media didn’t think hat was necessary to report.

But, when I did a quick google search about Sarah Palin’s son Trig, not really being her son, but rather her daughter Bristol’s child, hits came back from every mainstream news outlet and cable channel under the sun. When I googled about the alleged affair, Sarah Palin’s husband was supposedly having, once again every news outlet including Fox, ABC, MSNBC, all of the others had reported on it not just once but several times.

The end result of all of the searches and blathering about the Palin’s amounted to nothing more than intentional rumors intended to destroy Sarah Palin. And that brings me to Herman Cain. The media has behaved like dogs chasing a female dog that is in season. They are more wretched than those cashing in from human trafficking. Their preening smugness as they discard all pretense of objectivity discussing Herman disgusts me.

They cast aspersions and invoke judgement when they themselves are guilty of much more. What happened with Bill O’Reilly’s sex scandal? Do you know who the morning news show host is who was literally chased out of the news station she was at before coming to Fox? Do you know it was because of her alleged affairs and ultimately her relationship with another person’s husband? No, I’m sure you didn’t. But these are the people who are tearing down Herman Cain.

We don’t have a press or media. We have cronyism, polit bureaus, and a cabal of T & A with painted faces and coiffured hair, capable of reading without blinking. And men who give all new meaning to “pink panty sissies.” They have turned that which of necessity we should be able to trust into agitprop. And they want us to believe Herman is guilty of being a serial philanderer like Clinton or John Edwards. Well Herman isn’t like them and we aren’t going to listen to their feckless and dishonest attempts to not just manage the news, but to create it as well.
