Obama's plan?
“Obama-obama he’s our man, if he can’t screw it up no one can – gooooo-bama.” That should be the cheer of the sycophants who are still cheering him.
This morning the jobs report showed there were 418,000 newly unemployed persons filing first time claims, an increase of 10,000 over last week and 2,000 more than Obama economists were projecting. That’s the 15th straight week of 400K or more first time filers. Combine this with slowing growth and 3.7 million unemployed and obama supporters should either cheer him or drag him into the street and cleanse the oval office of his stench.
But it’s about to get even worst. Borders books is closing all of their remaining stores, which results in 11,000 or more workers being unemployed. Ok, maybe this isn’t his fault. But in a healthy economy the free market would absorb this closure and those loosing their jobs. But this isn’t a healthy economy and that is his fault.
Specific to that point – tomorrow morning 3,200 NASA employees will loose their jobs and enter the unemployment rolls thanks to his policies. Altogether 9,000 will loose their jobs at NASA in Florida. The ripple effect will be a further slam on the housing market, ancillary support businesses, restaurants and other eateries, not to mention various stores and shopping areas will be immediately and adversely impacted because of this single decision by Obama. Florida will not be able to absorb this unemployment hit. Cisco Systems will lay off 10,000, which will spell more disaster for California.
Factor as well Obama’s NLRB blocking the plans of Boeing to move to South Carolina, where it would have created thousands of jobs, helped ease housing concerns in the area, spurred ancillary support businesses, encouraged small businesses, and more. Even worse, if Boeing shuts it doors and moves overseas the impact will be even more demonstrative.
I submit unless they’re going to pay people to sing his praises, our economy and unemployment picture is abysmal and will continue to deteriorate. This man either wants this to happen so people become dependent on government ala marxism – or he has no idea of what to do. Personally I think he has a plan and we are seeing it.
