‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

O'Reilly's Obama Interview: Lying President And Feckless Media

February 3, 2014

Referencing his much ballyhooed pre-Super Bowl interview with Obama, Bill O’Reilly said to Megyn Kelly, “…he is not a bad guy, I think people misread him.” That sounds eerily like what Chamberlain said of Hitler. The truth is, Obama is a bad guy, and to assume otherwise is to believe that Herod was genuine in his desire to worship the Christ Child when he implored the Wise Men to let him know when they had found the “Child.”

O’Reilly tried to persuade Obama to admit that his greatest mistake in implementing obamacare was promising that everyone could keep their health insurance. Of course, Obama refused to admit same, simply stating that he had regrets about how the issue was handled.

For the record, my position is that Obama’s knowingly and repeatedly lying about the provisions that are clearly stated in obamacare — including that upwards of 70 percent (or more) would not be able to keep their individual health plans — isn’t the issue as such. The issue is that America doesn’t need a flawed replica of the failed Euro-socialist healthcare system that even European countries are now admitting doesn’t work. America has a healthcare system that worked just fine until government became overly involved in same.

It was appalling, morally opprobrious, and an unmitigated portrait of narcissistic dishonesty from a pathological liar but it obviously wasn’t out of character for Obama as he defended his lies about the murders of Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Doherty in Benghazi. Obama refused to admit that he misled the nation (and, I argue, suborned perjury) when he knowingly had Susan Rice and Hillary Clinton lie, claiming the murders were a spontaneous attack borne out of Muslim anger over a movie. Which would lead to why Obama felt it necessary to defend terrorist Muslims as if being upset over a movie were a legitimate reason to murder four innocent Americans. But I digress.

But all of that and everything else Obama lied about, and O’Reilly let him slide on, paled in comparison to the following. O’Reilly asked: “Mr. President, why do you feel it’s necessary to fundamentally transform the nation that has afforded you so much opportunity and success?” Obama responded: “I don’t think we have to fundamentally transform the nation.”

O’Reilly countered with, “But those are your words.” To which Obama replied, “I think what we have to do is make sure that here in America, if you work hard, you can get ahead.”

But, could it not be argued that the fact that he and his wife are multi-millionaires and that he is in the White House are proof of the very thing he claims to want, i.e., people to be able to be rewarded for hard work? Even though the two of them lied their way to where they are.

I would also question, if the federal government were to cease its intrusion into the personal affairs of We the People and private industry if not more people would experience, i.e., reap the reward of their labors.

With that said, elapids may shed their skins, but they do not change their colors nor do they lose the poisonous venom in their fangs. Obama did not deny his words of October 30, 2008 when, at a Columbia, Missouri campaign event, he told a small gathering of supporters: “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

Obama fancies himself as clever, ergo, I suspect his words in response to O’Reilly were tantamount to him saying, “I’ve already fundamentally changed America, and I continue to do more every day, so why on earth would I transform it now that I’m making it as I want it?”

To be fair, I do not watch Fox News, and I cannot stomach to even listen to Obama’s voice much less watch him; I have read the transcripts of the interview.

Specific to that, Obama has been a disaster his entire life. From drug-induced fog to sexual involvement with Larry Sinclair to one blatant lie after another, he is the epitome of the expression “worthless human being.” He has transformed America, and the policies and appointments he has made will continue to do so for decades to come unless he is stopped. He has approved employment of some of the most radical, extremist Marxists in America today into lifetime positions. These are not appointments that can be changed when another administration takes over. They are civil service positions from which persons cannot be removed without cause, and wrongful ideology is not synonymous with cause.

What people saw during the O’Reilly-Obama interview was the depth of Obama’s dishonesty and O’Reilly, as a representative of the media, not only allowing Obama to lie with impunity, but O’Reilly, as a representative of the media, applauding him as a nice, good-hearted guy.

Obama is neither good-hearted nor nice, and O’Reilly did us no favors during his interview. Of course he will be able to pontificate pursuant to how he asked the tough questions.
