We’re being told that Obama is going to vent his animus toward Congress in an “un-presidented” [sic], way during his State of the Union address. We are also being told that he will focus on his accomplishments. He will tell us the economy is recovering and that it’s because he has stayed his course in the face of unimaginable resistance from Republicans and Tea Parties. And he will continue to push his agenda, promising to lead America into a green future, and still other spending initiatives.
But let’s start with the last point first. The only thing we need to know about his vision for a green America, is that America is neither ready nor willing to embrace same. The only thing we need to remember is that that the Chevy Volt is an epic failure, wind energy is billions of tax dollars wasted, and that green companies like Solyndra and at least eight others that Obama gave billions of dollars to collectively, promptly failed. Adding injury to insult, he was advised that most of the companies were failing and he insisted they be given tax dollars anyway.
The economy is not improving regardless of what Obama would have us believe. The actual unemployment rate is somewhere in the 10 percent to 12 percent range, and some argue it’s higher than that. Jobless claims are decreasing because people are ceasing to search for jobs. The housing market is still abysmal and will continue to be for the foreseeable future. The housing market typically runs in seven year cycles, that alone means we are not near to being out of the gloom yet, and his attempts to manipulate us out of same will not work – not least of which because they are based upon a Keynesian philosophy.
He is responsible for the lost of jobs and the increased cost of living, (think Keystone Pipeline). Is it costing you more or less to travel back and forth to work? Are you paying more or less for groceries and utilities today, than you were when he took office? As I wrote in 2009, the cost of living is closely tied to the cost of fuel. Fuel prices have more than doubled since Obama took office – which means that not just the cost of manufacturing products, but shipping them to the stores has also gone up – which means that increase is passed directly to the consumer.
We are hearing that he will claim the Iraq War is ended, blah-blah-blah. The Iraq War may be ended on a paper on his desk, but Americans continue to die there week after week. And his using military cuts, to boast that he has reduced government employees, is a trick that Clinton used. Reducing the military is not synonymous with reducing true government employees. I argue there is a difference between those who defend America and those who watch pornography on government office computers.
Venting his animus toward Congress, the Supreme Court, Tea Parties, and anyone/anything that dares oppose him is what potentates do. Obama is not a Lord, he is a loser of gargantuan proportions. He would like us to overlook that there are three independent branches of government – and that the intent of the Framers was to insure that there were checks and balances in place to protect us from usurpers like Obama, his wife, and their Communist caravan of thieves and liars.
He will claim that the we need to sacrifice, as he plays the race/class warfare cards. Only a devout Communist would refuse to acknowledge – that if the aggregate wealth of all of the so-called wealthy were confiscated, the sum total would not scratch the debt he is directly responsible for incurring.
Speaking of class warfare it is worth noting that credible reports have it that the reason the Communist, domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, wrote Obama’s Dreams book, is because after he and his wife received an unprecedented advance for a first time, unpublished, want to be author – was because Obama and his wife blew the advance living large in the islands – and the publisher was asking for a book or the advance back. Enter Bill Ayers to save the day.
So it should be no surprise that they are acting like sharecroppers who just won the powerball jackpot, now that they are in the White House. Specific to that point, a very learned personal friend for whom I have the greatest of respect, wrote me the following last evening:
“Mychal — Is this where Buttzilla is adding the lard, at extremely high-priced BLT Steak? Eating $81 steaks from Japanese Wagyu cattle — richly marbled with fat. Don’t know if US ranchers feed them beer and massage them, however.
A little confusing as to what they are selling because they say their burgers are Kobe beef. But Kobe beef can only come from Japanese Wagyu cattle grown in the Kobe area.
There has been a small amount of Wagyu cattle shipped to AU, NZ, US over past 30 years with small producing herds in those countries.
There is so much marbling/fat in it that it is referred to as white beef. On marbling scale from 1 – 12, US Prime (which is only 2 % of all US beef only rates around 4 to 6 for the best. Best Wagyu scores a 12. Supposedly it is relatively healthy as there is a lot of monounsaturated fat. But you’re still eating loads of fat.
Story says she eats there “quite regularly” — probably those $28 Obama Burgers, with their BS sauce.
Thank goodness the prez says he is going to address income/wealth inequality and call for economic justice in the SOTU. Maybe we’ll all get Kobe and Wagyu beef!”
This is their idea of sacrifice. Not factored into my friends facts, are what it cost for secret service and police overtime. Neither factored in is the inconvenience to the customers not permitted access to the place of business, because “her excellentness” is there stuffing her face and swilling drinks, as she is telling us not to eat french fries.
To be sure, Democrats will bounce up and down like bobble-head dolls applauding his every other paragraph, but what we will not hear from Obama that we could applaud, is him admit he has misled the nation and will step down immediately.
