‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Protecting The Guilty By Changing The Truth by ‘Brother Bill’

June 24, 2026
What do you do “When the Names Are Changed to Protect the Guilty” as they are today when companies add AI and blockchain to replace the old lies of ‘.com’ even though they have neither?

When rebranding perception replaces quality performance, is this the right question, and is it older than you think?

Adam tried it first—new fig leaf, same naked.  The serpent didn’t invent a single thing that day; he just rebranded the fruit.  “Ye shall be as gods” was the original prospectus, and the deck was beautiful.  The product shipped late and arrived dead.

So, what do you do when the names get changed to protect the guilty?  You stop reading the nameplate and start checking the keel.

Here’s the trouble with deep fakes, and the deeper fakes behind them: the counterfeit has gotten so good that the eyes are no longer reliable witnesses.  A man can now wear another man’s face and another man’s voice and ask you for your money or your vote or your trust.  The slick deck says “AI.” The failing company says “Blockchain.”  The angel says “light.”  And Paul already told us the angel one was coming—the most expensive rebrand in history runs right through 2 Corinthians 11:14, *”And no wonder!  For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.”*  The transformation is real. The angel is not.

That’s the whole con in one verse.  Satan doesn’t counterfeit garbage—nobody forges a three-dollar bill.  He counterfeits *light*, because light is what you’re hungry for, and a hungry man doesn’t inspect the bread too closely.

So the test was never the appearance.  Jesus said it plain in Matthew 7:16, *”You will know them by their fruits.  Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?”*  Notice He didn’t say “you’ll know them by their pitch.”  He didn’t say “by their signs and wonders”—because the fakes have those too, and 2 Thessalonians 2:9 says the lawless one shows up *”with all power, signs, and lying wonders.”*  Wonders aren’t proof.  A magician does wonders.  Fruit is proof.  Fruit takes a season, and a liar can’t fake a season—he can only fake a moment.  That’s why he’s always rushing you.  Hype has a clock on it.  Truth doesn’t.

Which brings us to our boat.

When the wind fills the world’s sails, it fills them with whatever’s blowing—and right now what’s blowing is AI and blockchain to replace “.com” it’s  forgery at scale. The rudder’s the problem  it’s all over the sea: we’ve half-lost the ability to steer by what we see and hear, because what we see and hear can be manufactured.  The deep fake doesn’t just lie to you.  It dissolves the very instruments you used to detect lies.  That’s the new thing.  That’s why it feels like the floor is gone.

But here’s what the storm can’t touch.  The keel doesn’t ride on top of the water where the wind is.  It rides underneath, in the still part, gripping the deep.  And the keel was never your discernment, your news feed, your ability to spot the fake.  The keel is a Person.  *”I am the way, the truth, and the life”* (John 14:6)—not *a* truth among competing truths to be voted on, but *the* Truth that the counterfeits are all impersonating.  You can’t deep-fake the original.  You can only fake Him *to* people who never knew Him in the first place.

That’s the safeguard, and it’s the only one that survives this era: you don’t out-detect the fakes, because that’s an arms race you lose.  You know the real thing so well that the fake can’t sell you.  The bank teller doesn’t study a thousand counterfeits.  She studies one true bill until the false one feels wrong in her fingers before her mind even names why.

So the guide is short, brother:

Stop trusting the nameplate.  They’ll change it again next quarter.

Test the fruit, not the wonders.  The fruit needs a season; that’s the one thing the liar can’t manufacture.

And quit white-knuckling the rudder.  In this storm, steering by sight will run you onto the rocks.  Set the keel deep, keep your hand on the One who’s already walked across this exact water, and let the wind do what wind does.

The boat with Jesus in it has a perfect record.  It has taken on water.  It has not gone down.

Blessings back to you.  The waves are louder than they’ve ever been.  The keel is exactly as deep as it always was.

Talk about deep fakes we are in a time of deeper fakes where we don’t even know what or who to believe.
So, when the wide fills the world’s sails and the rudder has lost control the keel of Jesus is still stabling the boat.
He is the way truth and life through the storms to the father God.
Blessings brother bill/dad
