‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Sharing The Plan of Salvation With Family and Friends by “Brother Bill”

October 8, 2025

The Bible says we’ve all sinned (Romans 3:23), and sin leads to death (Romans 6:23). But God gave us a gift—His Son Jesus—who died and rose so we could be forgiven and made new.

When I repented and surrendered my life to Jesus, everything changed. It’s not about being perfect or religious; it’s about being born again and letting His Spirit live through us (Galatians 2:20).

As David said, hiding the Word in our hearts will help us flow naturally when we share (Psalm 119:11).  Following are verses I suggest memorizing to help facilitate things as the Spirit leads whenever the opportunity to share the plan of salvation with an unsaved person presents itself:

The Problem (Sin)

Romans 3:23

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Romans 6:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The Solution (Jesus)

John 3:3

“Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’”

John 15:5

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

The Call (Repentance and Faith)

Ephesians 2:8–10

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of (my)works, lest anyone should boast.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for (his)good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

Galatians 2:20

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

The Response (Obedience & Surrender)

John 7:17

“If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.”

Spiritual Blindness (Why Some Don’t See Yet)

2 Corinthians 4:3–4

“But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,

whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”

The Hope (Grace & Mercy)

Hebrews 4:16

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

This is the full gospel path:

•   Sin separates us.

•   Jesus saves us.

•   Faith, not works, receives the gift.

•   New life means surrender and obedience.

•   Satan blinds, but God opens eyes.

•   Grace and mercy are freely offered.
