‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Subversion of The Christian Tradition by Robert Socha

“And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:12-14 KJV

We ignore this to our peril. Weak-kneed Western men are working diligently to destroy the timeless values rooted in the event recorded above. They are more concerned with their feelings and appearing culturally righteous than repelling an enemy who has ridden their Trojan horse inside our gates and is patiently attacking through lawfare and breeding.

The enemy of our souls is using two diametrically opposed ideologies in an unholy alliance to subvert the Christian tradition and usher in confusion, passivity, and doubt. The Muslim invasion, the ever-expanding acronym, and government largesse are working overtime to silence the Truth celebrated at Christmastime.

This past Sunday, we went to Chicago to visit the Grand Palace Theatre and watch the Broadway Musical Les Misérables. The production was magnificent in its splendor and musicality, save for two unnecessary and crude insertions directed at the acronym’s community. Another moment that caused severe disgust and alarm was a heavyset man, whose voice is an octave lower than mine, working as an usher, wearing a tight-fitting dress and makeup while giving directions to the throngs trying to find their way to their seats or the facilities. His vain attempt to mask his masculinity by softening his voice and wearing women’s apparel while still trying to evoke authority was tragically comical in its ineffectiveness and an embarrassment to the Grand Palace and its patrons.

On the other hand, Muslims have taken to the street en-mass in London mere days before Christmas, showing their numerical strength and demanding acquiescence to Sharia law. They are increasingly bold in their proclamation to subvert Western Christianity and replace it with a Muslim body politic. All while Western nations scramble to prosecute those who would dare post on social media or publicly speak against the evil mentioned above.

Significantly, this Christmas Day is the beginning of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights, when the Jewish community celebrates the re-dedication of the Holy Temple after the Maccabees defeated the Greek army, and the eight-day celebration extends into the New Year. We who Believe should adopt this model and re-dedicate our lives to the propagation of the Gospel, as Paul exemplified to the Corinthians:

“For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living.” 1 Corinthians 15:3-6

Additionally, we should also continue to unashamedly speak Truthfully about transgenderism, unmitigated immigration, and an unrestrained bureaucracy and their disastrous cultural effect, and replace that with bold Faith proclaiming that this babe born in Bethlehem, because of His obedience, presents us with Salvation.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16 KJV
