‘The Donald’ 2024 by Robert Socha
Not only did Donald Trump win the Iowa caucus, but he also did so in a record-setting fashion. Congratulations. There is no shocking revelation in that outcome. Nikki Haley is a tired Neo-Con who is better suited to have run in 1996 than in 2024. She could have touted her same war-mongering principles with a much broader appeal. Ron DeSantis dove in headfirst and allowed himself to be manipulated by the donors who funded his campaign mainly to spite Donald Trump. He should have continued to serve the great state of Florida and possibly considered the Presidency in 2028. Chris Christie rightfully bowed out before Iowa to save face. He was only there to demean President Trump and never should have joined the race in the first place. Vivek Ramaswamy is a beautiful anomaly who can definitively articulate the role of government, especially the Presidency. He is a breath of fresh air, and I hope he is sincere and maintains his integrity for the next four years. Mr. Ramaswamy could be a political juggernaut coming into the 2028 campaign. Many of his talking points were uplifting and in agreement with 45/47, and it was wise for him to concede and endorse President Trump. The other candidates should follow that example and help unify the party.
Suppose there is any credibility to the theories about Agenda 2030, the entrenched deep state, the World Economic Forum’s desire to control every aspect of society from food supply chains to housing and transportation, (de)population control, the WHO and their next forced pandemic, open borders, gender confusion, etcetera. In that case, there is no other candidate with the intestinal fortitude and charisma to beat the malevolent Democrat Machine hellbent on destroying the United States from within to usher in global governance save Donald Trump.
I stand with him, hoping he will overcome every tyrannical obstacle, from the weaponized judiciary to the mail-in electorate. Once he prevails in November, the lessons of his first term will provide fodder for him to form a government free from the shackles of a repressive D.C. that has built a cabal of crony capitalism and spend four formidable years in a deep clean from the bloviated bureaucracy to the castrated military leadership more concerned with feelings than fighting.
What a tremendous blessing to be alive today with the opportunity to engage and defend the rights of the people in their pursuits. The tricky thing is to believe that any man can overcome the chicanery and political subterfuge designed to cow the American populace into submission and invest considerable time, energy, and money into the fray. The populist victories in the Netherlands, Argentina, and Serbia in 2023 stand as a great encouragement to fight for the cause of a populist, regaining the stolen property on Pennsylvania Avenue. It would be a tremendous boost if men could lay down their infallibility and lend their hands and voices to the instrument of a Republican victory in 2024.
