The Mainstream Media Are Chasing The Ghosts of Woodward and Bernstein

It is a fact that the Democrat Party has from its inception been committed to the subjugation of human beings they deemed as chattel or insignificant. The Democrat Party Platform in 1840, 1844, and 1848 held that: “All efforts by abolitionists … to interfere with questions of slavery … are calculated to lead to the most alarming and dangerous consequences and … have all inevitable tendency to diminish the happiness of the people and endanger the stability and permanency of the Union.” (See: Democrats and Republicans In Their Own Words)

In colloquial parlance Democrats were arguing the owning slaves was a right based upon the good pleasure of white people so inclined, for which they were prepared to fight to preserve.

In 1852 they took an even stronger position in their Party Platform stating unequivocally: “The Democrat Party will resist all attempts at renewing – in Congress or out of it – the agitation of the slavery question [i.e., will oppose all efforts to abolish slavery].”

It is important to lay the preceding foundation because it illuminates their contumelious arrogance and hereditary contempt for civility, which continues unabated until today.

This explains why they and the mainstream media are so symbiotically cohesive. They’re genetic extensions of the same political gene pool. That’s why I have great respect for the late Arnaud de Borchgrave. He was a member of a very select and limited number of honest journalists.

De Borchgrave frequently argued that journalistic integrity had become nothing more than a de facto “Pravda” the Russian Broadsheet, which was the principle propaganda organ of the Communist Central Committee. And he was right. The American news organizations are neither truthful nor do they subscribe to the moral requisite of “truthfully reporting the news.”

The mainstream media are liars and propagandists, who are not unlike heroin junkies chasing the rhapsodic feeling of the first time they injected themselves with the drug.  I believe it can argued their first high was seeing the liberal worship of Woodward and Bernstein.  And, I further argue that whether they admit it or not, observing the enshrinement and hero worship of them, which I also argue they didn’t deserve; has transmogrified the mainstream media from distorters of the news to bastardizers of truth to using their positions as protectors of lies and behavior that is antithetical to all that is decent and truthful into what they are today.

Admit it or not everyone of these so-called reporters are interested in Pulitzer prizes, homes in Manhattan, fame/fortune, book deals and being toasted by their peers.  In brief, they’re chasing the trajectory of the men who broke Watergate and brought down President Nixon.

Even worst, they’re willing to play both sides of the same card to accomplish this goal, which brings me to Jake Tapper who is panhandling his new book about the Biden cover-up and Alex Thompson of Axios, winner of 2025 The Aldo Beckman Award for his coverage of the cover-up of Biden’s decline while in office.

These two are emblematic of what I have been saying herein.  They not only participated in the cover-up of Biden’s mental disintegration, but they’re now capitalizing on it, claiming to have been deceived, while at the same time pretending to have uncovered the cover-up.

This is what the media has devolved into.  Every single member of the mainstream knew Biden was mentally incapable of being president, and that he was being propped up by sleight of hand.  Those further up the political food-chain know who was in fact making decisions for our country.

It’s up to the American people to awaken from their intellectual coma and realize that the mainstream media are purveyors of agitprop.  They spin and manufacture positions intended to persuade We the People to blindly ingest as factual what the Democrat Party needs the public to believe. The media are the informational Trotskyites for a Party that has never had a moral center.

CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, FoxNews, and major newspapers and news desks throughout America parroted outright lies regarding Biden’s cognitive health at the same time waging ad hominem attacks against President Trump.

They collaborate with Democrats allowing them to lie with impunity, then turn around and publish books claiming to have uncovered the cover-up.  As I said, they do it because they’re ideologically symbiotic with the treasonous Democrat politicians and at the same time they are in pursuit of the dream of being the next Woodward and Bernstein.

They’re a plexus of liars and frauds masquerading as journalists who are willing participants in playing both sides of the political spectrum to help Democrats and the pursuit of fame for themselves.

It’s time We the People hold these felonious mouthpieces of the parasitosis accountable.  We want a news media we can trust; which begs the question: If people know the mainstream media are spewers of agitprop and the defenders of pernicious calumniators, why watch and/or listen to them?
