The Spiritual Battle Is Global, Not Just In America by Robert Socha

A fierce battle is happening in the spiritual realm!
Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. (Matthew 24:12)
We are indifferent toward criminal behavior. We turn a blind eye to bad things happening in broad daylight. We make excuses for not intervening.
When we do speak up, we are maligned and castigated as being a hypocrite, without compassion, callous, shallow, privileged, racist (way overused), homophobic (a terrible misnomer), and more. The worst part is that those who slander and tear down people who are standing for the reality that knows you cannot simply cut off anatomy to reverse its conception magically are given a portrayal as the morally courageous and virtuous ones.
Thankfully, there are many men who are not intimidated by this moral subjectivity and will not compromise their positions or beliefs because of some virtue-signaling prognosticator who capitalizes on cultural ambiguity. These courageous souls are rapidly turning cultural idealism back toward Biblically defined normality.
Unfortunately, Paul, in his second letter to Timothy, gives fair warning about what culture will accept in these trying times:
“But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good, traitorous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5a
“For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4
A gross disregard for authority incubates lawlessness. A gross disregard for Scripture incubates moral subjectivity. Parents abandoning their responsibility to raise their children in the fear of the Lord produces the same. Lawlessness breeds chaos and more lawlessness. This anarchy fills the streets with anxiety and fear, and people with hopelessness and despair. A downward spiral spinning so violently as to force-feed its prisoners to sheol.
There is an army of courageous souls so battered by societal evolution they have lost their passion for life and liberty, curmudgeonly spending their free time in the doldrums of social media, sitcoms, and reality TV.
With this in mind I am offering an exhortation from Paul to the Ephesians, battered by their own hedonistic culture when he declared, “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Be very careful, then, how you live — not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:10-11
If we will wake up, pursuing the King of kings, then we can courageously stand for lawful and Biblically sound behavior, inviting the King of glory to come and strengthen our fingers for the tasks and our hands for the days ahead. (See Psalm 144)
“Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty— he is the King of glory.” Psalm 24:8-10
“Don’t grow weary while doing good, for in due season we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
“Fight, fight, fight!”
