This was always obama's plan
The biggest impediment to debt reduction is obama. He continues to blame Bush, blame congress, and blame Republicans. Every economic gambit he has forced through, has failed. Unemployment is up, job creation is down, millions of jobs lost since he took office, he’s added trillions to the national debt since taking office, and the best he can do is chastise and berate Republicans and congress. Add to that, the botox beetle, nancy pelosi, stepped to the microphone and proclaimed no spending cuts to medicare and medicaid. Pundits are saying that obama seemed much more subdued today – balderdash!! He still blamed Bush and everyone but himself – even though progressive talking points have it hat he did admit his part, when he said, he had underestimated the amount of stimulus needed. Oh freakin’ really? But not to worry, because geithner has a plan. The plan is to use what they are calling the “nuclear option on debt ceiling.” Said allows that the 14th amendment, provides for the president to ensure that the nation’s bills are paid. It is my opinion that they have known it was there all time, which is why obama has done nothing w/ the budget, and why he has no real interest in reaching an agreement. I argue he doesn’t want to reach debt ceiling agreement, because his true goal, has always been to act w/out congressional approval. This man has acted outside the constraints of congress at every turn. It was the late Robert Byrd who first raised that very concern. Since then other democrats, most notably Dennis Kucinich, have argued the same thing. I don’t think I’m being paranoid or conspiratorial, I believe I’m exposing what they planned to do. This man will do whatever it takes to achieve his objectives and doing it w/out congressional involvement seems to be his first choice.
