Update on Venezuela

Hi Mychal, Just a bit of information you may or may not have. Sunday 5/11, Democratic Representatives, William Delahunt, District 10 of Mas. and Democratic Rep. Gregory Meeks, District 5, of NY. , arrived in Venezuela and had a closed door dialogue with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro concerning sanctions against the Venz. Government for civil rights abuses and against certain members of this government. Both Reps. departed last evening 5/12,coming away from the meeting with a no vote for sanctions against this government…..The protests continue, especially on the mainland. The island, after several arrests, threats and injuries, has gone a bit quiet in the past few days. I don’t expect it to stay quiet here.
