‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Welcome To Utopia by RoseAnn Salanitri

If Joe Biden can call himself the legitimate President of the United States, then I guess this NJ housewife can call herself the Queen of Utopia.

So, let me welcome you to Utopia, a land where the state supplies all your needs, whether you are a citizen or come from a foreign country illegally or from a hostile nation that would like to wipe us off the face of the map. Rest assured that our legal citizens will be more than happy to work day and night to provide for you what they struggle to provide for their own families. It doesn’t matter to them whether or not they can afford to heat their homes, put food on their tables, or buy gas for their cars because they are saving the earth as well as all the rest of the world.

These poor slobs… excuse me, I meant to say “working Americans,” will be re-programmed if they should object, because the state needs their tax dollars and not their objections.  It is their objections that make them enemies of the state and a threat to Utopia and all the Jezebels that run her. So you can be reassured that you will enjoy free health care even if the average working American can’t afford it for their own families.  After all, the American Dream now applies only to Dreamers.  All we have to do  is convince doctors, nurses, and all health care workers to work for free in addition to all the maintenance crews, energy suppliers, administrations and their staffs, and all related industries and operating costs associated with healthcare to donate their time and resources for the betterment of mankind and then we can achieve the Utopian Dream.  After all, anything less is selfish and extremely unChristianly.  And besides, in Utopia we trust Dr. Fauci and the WHO despite their failed and contradictory efforts. We trust them because the media says we should trust them and the media never lies in Utopia. If they tell us wearing a piece of cloth over our mouths and noses will eliminate all pestilences and pandemics, in Utopia we readily comply because we realize it is within our power to eliminate such things. And in Utopia we don’t criticize our elected officials who don’t wear masks in public or comply to the same restrictions they impose upon the rest of us because we understand that their germs are not communicable and they have evolved to a higher state of existence than the rest of us.

Once we have accomplished the task of creating truly free healthcare, we can create free colleges and universities as well.  Of course all of the incidental costs associated with free healthcare will have to be conquered to create free college. In case this challenge is only partially accomplished, have no worries, for those that attend college free (as well as those who never set foot inside of our esteemed institutions of higher indoctrination – excuse me.  I meant to say “higher learning”) will be more than happy to pay for college for others for the rest of their miserable lives.

And don’t worry about global warming. In Utopia detrimental carbon footprints only apply to the poor slops (forgive me, there I go again, I meant to say “working Americans”)  not to the elites.  Their private jets and embarrassingly excessive homes do not contribute to the carbon footprint, as do the carbon expenditures of the rest of us. Remember, they are higher on the evolutionary scale than the rest of us.

As for gun control.  No worries there either.  Certainly once they take away our right to own and bear arms, surely all the criminals in this world will gladly comply and obey the Utopian gun control laws – as they do now in Chicago and other democratically run cities.

You may be wondering about the wall that is nearly complete along our southern border.  Here in Utopia the only walls that are needed surround the estates of the wealthy and now our Capital.  The rest of us have no need, just as we have no need to carry firearms while the bodyguards of the aforementioned do.

Now should you be worrying about the working Americans who are financing all of this, take heart.  Whatever the national debt can’t cover, the treasury department can supplement by printing as much money as the government needs, for in Utopia hyper-inflation does not exist. Besides, once the American worker understands that his or her hard work is supporting millions who either don’t report their incomes or don’t work, they’ll be more than happy to leave their families day and night to keep the entitlement programs of others in the black, even if their own finances are in the red.  And if that should fail, the government can always mandate $20/hour wages, even for the unskilled laborer, and small business owners who are barely surviving now will be happy to pay their workers more money than they may be earning. After all, they will surely understand that Utopia cannot survive without them.

In case you’re wondering about the prison system in Utopia, I can assure you that only those that need to be re-programmed will reside behind bars. As for the hardened criminals, rapists, thieves, and murders, once they’re released into Utopia, they will no longer rape, steal, or murder.  And our judicial system will be more than willing to facilitate their release while the American worker who dares to object will linger behind bars – eliminating all controversy and protests. Even Black Lives Matter will cease to burn down buildings and riot because in Utopia they will appreciate the thousands of Union soldiers who gave their lives willingly so they could be free.

As for standards of right and wrong, have no concern because in Utopia everyone gets to decide what is right or wrong in their own eyes. There are no absolutes here, for absolutes are sure to infringe upon someone’s thoughts or habits and that is a sin that is unpermitted in Utopia, as is the notion of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  While some may call this hell, in a land where elections can be stolen and right is wrong and wrong is right, many call it Utopia.  The gate to this Utopia is wide and many pass through it, but others go a different route.  Some may end up in the Valley of Decision, but still others will find a mansion waiting for them when at last a righteous king does arise and put an end to all this insanity.  May you and yours find yourself on the right path – the narrow one that leads to the type of Utopia that is not possible in 2021.
