‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

What They Said About The Church by Robert Socha

They said the Church could not provide for every need, so the federal government stepped in to put a chicken in every pot.

They said the Church was too powerful, so they used the courts and the tax code to cripple her influence.

They said the Church is too rigid, so adults who should have known better allowed the Nation’s youth to run amuck by awakening love before its time and calling it free love.

What is the fruit of these actions? A continual dripping of evil paraded on our culture as normal and acceptable, and stupidity shouted from the rooftops in defense of such debauchery.

Evil can be exposed and reputed, but stupidity is a tougher nut to crack; their error is so entrenched that it is almost impossible to overcome.[i]

As alluded to above, in the 1930s, at the height of the Great Depression, the Church consented to FDR’s New Deal, instigating its slide toward cultural irrelevancy. The 1950s and 60s brought about an overreaching judiciary ruling against the Church’s moral compass, and the country embraced a concept called free love that led to the hippy movement of the 1970s and an uncontrolled appetite for hedonistic pleasure.

The 1970s and 80s normalized homosexual deviancy, leading to special rights for those engaged in sodomy. Once those exercising such immoral behavior encoded homosexual rights in law and homosexuality gained cultural center stage, the amoral Left added other significant taboos to the acronym to advance an unholy war against decency.

Fast forward to today, and the deviancy portrayed as usual and acceptable is literally castrating boys and sterilizing girls in the name of cultural relevancy.

The Church must adamantly repudiate such debauched behavior and boldly attack and dismantle the evil perpetrated as tolerable. We have tolerated enough! If the mutilation of any human being is considered normal and encouraged, polite society has failed to protect its posterity.

Stupid people, some of whom are intellectual giants, defend this abnormality in fits of uncontrollable rage and defilement. They will not listen to reason and cannot have their manipulated minds contradicted by the Truth. Instead of civil discourse and debate, they resort to character assassination and shouting down opposition in a fascist attempt to silence any voices attempting to associate human choices and behavior with the Biblical characterizations of Good and Evil.

All these encroachments are distractions from the root cause: “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds; there is none who does good.” Psalm 14:1.

Paul reiterates this verse in Romans chapter three, referring to the evildoers who constantly repudiate the people of God and refuse to call on His name.

Those justified by Faith in the gift of Redemption in Christ must not grow weary because political and cultural idiocy will litter our minds this coming year. We must not back down and allow hedonism to sear our consciences. We must uphold the law of Nature and Nature’s God and speak Truth into cultural corruption. We must do the next right thing. We must go into the enemy’s camp, in this case, the cultural moray, and take back what the enemy has stolen: Decency!
