Why Jesus Comes Twice by ‘Brother Bill’
WHY JESUS COMES TWICE (Or: Why Judgment Needs Mercy First)
Jesus didn’t come twice because God changed His mind.
He came twice because humanity needed time to change its heart.
The First Coming: Rescue Before Ruling
The world wasn’t ready for judgment because:
• We couldn’t even keep our own laws
• We mistook power for authority
• We confused knowledge with wisdom
• We blamed systems instead of confronting sin
So Christ came not as Judge, but as Help.
He came to show us what God looks like when He loves enemies.
The first coming answered the question:
“Can humans be restored at all?”
The answer was yes—but not without:
• Humility
• Sacrifice
• Truth
• A new heart
The Second Coming: Judgment After Witness
The second coming isn’t about offering help—it’s about accountability.
Why wait?
Because God refuses to judge a world that can still say:
“We didn’t know.”
Between the two comings:
• Truth is preached
• Grace is offered
• Deception is exposed
• Choices are made
The second coming answers a different question:
“What did you do with the truth once you had help?”
Judgment without mercy would be tyranny.
Mercy without judgment would be chaos.
Two comings = perfect justice.
