Will we end their reign before it's to late?
You can always tell what words and phrases have polled successfully and scored well in focus groups for liberal Democrats. Because they mouth them more than a person with a bladder infection goes to the bathroom.
Ergo, the reason we are hearing them accuse the Tea Party of being extremist, extortionist, and saying things like holding the economy hostage. The Tea Party vis-a-vis the Republicans, if we are to believe the Democrats, are holding the economy hostage by refusing to resolve the partial shutdown of the FAA.
Obama told congress to get off the beach, get back to Washington and resolve this issue. This coming from a man who spends his time on the golf course. Labor Secretary Ray LaHood, is mouthing the same lies, Steny Hoyer, Chuck Schumer, and the rest of their miserable lot are stopping in front of camera they can find claiming that 70,000 workers are unemployed and that’s hurting the economy.
A reality check is in order here. First of all only 4,000 FAA workers are affected. The following is another example of the depths Obama and democrats are willing to sink to get what they want: Following is by Mike Ahlers for CNN 8/4/11; 70,000 jobs lost! Really??
“The 70,000 figure entered the public sphere when the FAA turned to Associated General Contractors of America, a construction industry group, to calculate the economic impact of the FAA funding impasse. The FAA had halted more than 200 construction projects totaling $2.5 billion.
AGC dusted off the three-year-old study conducted by Fuller. His research, designed to show the “multiplier effect” of the president’s stimulus package, concluded in early 2009 that $1 billion in nonresidential construction created or supported 28,500 jobs and added $3.4 billion to the Gross Domestic Product.
An AGC economist applied Fuller’s formula to the FAA’s $2.5 billion construction halt and came to the conclusion that it would put “24,000 construction workers out of work.” Another 11,000 workers in related businesses “are also affected,” the AGC said, and “as many as 35,000 jobs will be undermined in the broader economy, from the lunch wagon near the job site to the truck dealership across town.”
The number has now been ratcheted up to 100,000 jobs lost, thanks to the creative counting of the AFL-CIO Chief. One can only guess what it will be tomorrow.
My point is this. These people are disgraceful liars. They are the most reprobate and diseased elements in the evolutionary development of scum. They knowingly lie and obfuscate as a complicit media never exposes them for what they are. Chris Wallace had the audacity to ask Michelle Bachmann if she was a cuck, why isn’t he asking these people why they are such contemptible liars? Why doesn’t the media use the same approach in exposing the obvious lies with the determination they employed in unearthing Arnold Schwarzenegger’s love child? The media was able to uncover all there was to know about George Bush’s life before becoming president – but they cannot and will not expose the glaring lies of those who entrusted to serve the public.
I submit it should be a federal crime to knowingly mislead the public to further the will of their benefactors. From Obama down to the lowest liberal senator, they are intentionally lying and misleading the public for the express purpose of supporting unions.
If Obama were concerned about jobs, he would support the states opposing illegals. If he were serious about jobs he would do more to encourage the free market to do what it alone can do – create jobs. He shows concern for jobs by having 9,000 NASA employees put out of work as a way to not just punish Florida for not bowing to his will – but to have the employees become wards of the government. This isn’t about employment – if it were Obama wouldn’t have his NLRB block Boeing from creating them in South Carolina, and putting Boeing in a position to move that portion of its business overseas.
We are witnessing the reduction of government by, for , and of the people to government by drunken liars and saboteurs who have no interest or concern in the welfare of the people. Unless those people are union chiefs or the murderers of unborn children.
If we do not stand up now, confronting them later may not be an option.
