Obama Disrespected Shirley Temple's Passing
I understand internet myth all too well; I also understand the internet rumor mill. One person sends an internet rumor, and, in less time than it takes for Michelle Obama to tell Jimmy Fallon that young people are “knuckleheads” (which is a euphemism for stupid) who need obamacare, internet myth is born. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Such is the case with the internet myth that Obama ordered flags flown at half staff for the late Whitney Houston who died from drug abuse and atherosclerotic heart disease, but that he did not do the same thing for Shirley Temple who passed away little more than two weeks ago.
The truth is New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, to the consternation of many, ordered New Jersey flags flown at half staff when Houston passed. It is also true that Obama contemptuously ignored Shirley Temple’s passing despite the fact that she was appointed by three different Republican presidents as U.S. Representative to the United Nations General Assembly, the U.S. Ambassador to Ghana, and the U.S. Ambassador to Czechoslovakia.
[adsanity id=8405 align=alignleft /]It is also true that Obama shows disregard and contempt for American Ambassadors. He refused Ambassador Christopher Stevens repeated requests for help in Benghazi prior to the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack on the American compound. And, Obama refused to lift one finger to save Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Doherty that fateful 9/11 night in Benghazi when his refusal to send help resulted in their being murdered and their bodies defiled. Although, in fairness, I must say Obama did watch them fight for their lives and watch Ambassador Stevens die in real time, thanks to the video features aboard military drones, for a period of time before he went up to the presidential quarters to enjoy his dinner. In ignoring Shirley Temple’s passing, Obama once again showed his contempt white for people and his contempt for the powerful roles they played pursuant to breaking down the barriers of separation and occupations for blacks.
No one person was more representative of that effort than Shirley Temple who as a child star in the 1930s was the first white to dance on screen with a black person. The impact of her roles with Bill “Bojangles” Robinson cannot be overstated.
Obama had the opportunity to address the demonstrable inter-racial growth and accomplishments that roles such as Shirley Temple’s played in breaking down barriers. But he chose not to.
Such is the way with Obama. He will aid, abet, and foment racial-animus at every opportunity; but he will do nothing to acknowledge the greatness of America and what persons such as Shirley Temple helped America overcome; and the barriers that those like Shirley Temple helped break.
Obama is the president of the United States, and it is time he acted like it. As president, his petulant, racialist behavior and the transpicuous contempt for white Americans he and his wife display with such ease have no place in the leader of America.
Obama has a proven and unambiguous record of pandering to Muslims, Planned Parenthood, radical homosexual activist groups, communist and socialist groups including the leaders of said groups. He is simpatico with the demands of the New Black Panther Party for white babies to be murdered, and he interjects himself into situations that prostitute skin color synonymous with racial injustice.
Obama and his wife support racialists, radical Muslims, Marxists, and radical racist poets, but they ignore those who played a part in the advancement of racial harmony. Shame on Obama. He is unfit and unworthy to occupy the office that he holds. That is why The Daily Rant is fighting to end his reign of racialism and racial discord.[adsanity id=11817 align=alignleft /]
