‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Lock-Downs and Coerced Inoculations by Robert Socha

“Loving your neighbor is not just loving those that agree with you, or look like you, or move in the same way that you do; it is loving those who don’t,” said Jonathan Isaac. The Orlando Magic’s power forward’s response to the media’s goading and attempting to publicly shame him for choosing not to follow the worldwide hysteria and become a player in history’s largest control group is magnificent in its American idealism and raft with Christian themes.

I have written about true love before, that it is not a feeling but a choice and will never allow someone to continue in sin unchallenged. I have written about Truth and that most elected to office are liars who are more concerned with their reelection bid than the public’s trust. I have written about the knee-jerk response to a survivable disease.

I hold the line.

I assert that the lock-downs, coerced inoculations, and despotic policing are unnecessary. I do not believe the best response to these insane policies is to print more money and distribute it to the general population. Stimulus checks, however nobly presented, are not philanthropy but thievery that rewards idleness. The global rhetoric necessitating proof that you have toed-the-line and submitted to unlawful decrees is demonically inspired; think negative test and “papers please.”

More and more people are speaking out against the never-ending “two weeks to flatten the curve.” It is a lie intent on breeding abject compliance to authority and demeaning the previous administration so that November 2020’s election did not result in a second term. Yet, here we are, 18 months removed from the initial scare tactics and fear-mongering incessantly hammering our conscience with no plausible solution allowing the vestiges of the free market to return to its global trade. Instead, despotic western parliamentarians demand subjection and slide toward tyranny.

They say they are fighting for the benefit of mankind, but their actions betray that sentiment. Love does not engage in martial law for over 200 days as the officials in Melbourne have done. Love does not force itself on another as the police physically restrain people who keep their churches open or are going for an unmasked subway ride. Yet, shockingly, a rapacious appetite has consumed these officials hell-bent on forced compliance. The fallout from the virus’ insanely high survivability rate has resulted in a doubling and tripling down on despotism, instead of backtracking their statements and continuing as if they had never made a mistake in the first place, as is customary with politicians. The relatively short memory span in the political realm would have had most people shrugging off the insanity. Instead, the resulting restless populace clamors (violently if necessary) for their previous state, one with a semblance of personal autonomy and liberty.

It is apparent to me that only one side of this debate is intolerant of dissenting opinions. Those who have refused to obfuscate their face or receive a subcutaneous jab are not the ones publicly shaming their opposition. They are not the ones demanding to know the status of the other. They know a nefarious plot to subjugate humanity looms and throw themselves into the fray as a voice of reason.

I remember the semblance of a post from social media from some time ago, but not the original author. It went something like this:

“When the government provides utilities, food, housing, healthcare, medicine, and pays for education, they can decide when to turn on or off your electricity and water, control what you eat, where you live, your medical procedures, and the education and career path for you. Furthermore, if they have convinced you to give up your guns, too, then you are limited in your ability to prevent them from taking all personal autonomy.”

Allowing the government to run roughshod over our lives in the pretense of the public good is not walking in love but submitting to the beguiling devil’s scheme, “if you eat of this tree, you won’t surely die.” “I am afraid, however, that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may be led astray from your simple and pure devotion to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 11:3)

Remember this, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been made perfect in love.” (1 John 4:18)

How do we overcome? Through the word of our testimony and the blood of the Lamb. Do not fear man who can take this life, but tremble before the Almighty. Be bold, be strong, be courageous.

Take action and share this!
