‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Great Awakening or Just Woke by ‘Brother Bill’

March 11, 2026
Have you had a great awakening or are you just woke?
Let’s first respond to the “awakening” idea using biblical language, two key images the Bible uses are the veil and seeing through a dark glass. These describe how humans perceive truth before and after spiritual awakening.
1. The Veil Over the Mind
The Bible teaches that without Christ there is a veil over human understanding.
2 Corinthians 3:14–16 (NKJV)
“But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament… Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.”
This shows:
   •   People often think they see clearly, but there is a spiritual veil.
   •   True awakening happens when someone turns to the Lord.
2. The Veil Removed Brings Transformation
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV)
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory.”
Awakening is not realizing life is a performance; it is seeing Christ clearly and being changed by Him.
3. Seeing Through the Glass Darkly
The Bible also teaches that our understanding is partial and imperfect in this life.
1 Corinthians 13:12 (NKJV)
“For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.”
Meaning:
   •   Humans do not fully understand reality yet.
   •   Full clarity comes when we see God face to face.
So even spiritual people must remain humble about what they think they “see.”
4. Awakening Means Light Replacing Darkness
2 Corinthians 4:6 (NKJV)
“For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
Biblical awakening is God shining light into the heart.
5. Spiritual Sight Comes From Christ
John 8:12 (NKJV)
“I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Awakening is not seeing that identity is an illusion; it is coming into the light of Christ.
Putting the Images Together
The Bible describes the human condition like this:
1. A veil covers understanding
2. People see through a dark mirror
3. When someone turns to Christ the veil is lifted
4. They begin seeing more clearly
5. Full clarity comes when we see God face to face
