Has Culture of Death, Serfdom, and Thought Control Replaced Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness? by Robert Socha
A culture of death, serfdom, and thought control has usurped the ideals of Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Where we once thought children a blessing and heritage! We now define they might be inconvenient and a burden. We indiscriminately allow and encourage this sacrifice of our posterity for the “convenience” of life, seemingly without the responsibility of the unborn child. It is a terrible scourge scarring our reputation, much as allowing the inhumane industry of slavery scarred and betrayed our founding principles. And nobody dares confront the aftermath, the turmoil, and torture that the woman who has indiscriminately murdered her child endures in perpetuity after she has committed the horrific procedure. Additionally, where people could once roam freely, even on the streets of the inner cities, we now have murder and mayhem rampantly victimizing and terrorizing the citizenry. We have idle young men so bored they concoct ways to murder their peers in the hallowed halls of education. These once venerable institutions are supposed to cultivate a love of learning, exploring, debating, and finding what is true, beautiful, and good in creation, our culture, and our lives. Instead, they’ve morphed into laboratories that have abandoned the principles of individual liberty and shackled their student body with hopelessness. Thus, they breed discontent rabble willing to murder their peers indiscriminately. Nobody talks about the constant fear that must subconsciously plague our student populations, questioning, “I wonder if my school will be next?”
Capitalism has done more to pull the rank-and-file of the world’s poor from every continent, nation, and tribe into prosperity than any other system created by man. It is why we have stocked shelves, and for the last 70 years, we have not had to forage and hunt for food, and every want and desire is available impulsively. But unfortunately, government encroachment, especially in the West, continues to unnecessarily burden that system with rules, regulations, and subsidized enterprise, hampering its advance. The increasing burden dooms our economies to collapse and our supply chains to a shell of their once global dominance. Moreover, in the past three years, totalitarian edicts bind populations once thought free to the chains of the whims of their “elected” officials. To accomplish their goals, they impose an immoral and unacceptable tax burden upon the people they are supposed to represent. The threat of fines and imprisonment loom if that burden is not satisfied, effectively resigning the citizenry to serfdom. And the supply chain’s collapse looks to usher in another great depression.
The dominance of social media hegemonies and “mainstream” media continually tilt the conversation to whatever is the currently “acceptable” social construct. The opposition appears touted as immoral and inhumane. For example, it is now socially acceptable to allow the castration and mutilation of not only adults with mental delusions that they are the opposite sex but our children too, even prepubescent children! Nobody talks about the complications that arise when you cut off or remove parts of the human body and try to recreate anatomy, the lack of sensation, its irreversibility, the remorse, the anguish that plagues the soul, especially an adolescent soul who cries, “why didn’t somebody warn me?” Yet, we are supposed to simply trust the “experts” and allow them to continue genital manipulation experiments, even on our children (in some states, parental consent is unnecessary)! The continual destruction of the family unit is paramount to despotism’s rise.
Myriad examples exist to expand on these totalitarian usurpations. So what are reasonable people to do?
We fight back with straightforward language that reveals truth to every circumstance. We encourage elected officials to run on principle even if it means sacrificing their political careers. We look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of faith, and Creator of everything seen and unseen, to reveal to us the Spirit of Truth, encouraging us to take every thought captive, bring it into obedience, and continue to oppose these demonic hegemonies boldly. We train our children to respect Life, to be honorable in conduct and word, and seek the Truth, not subjective “truth” for that is a lie breeding confusion and every evil thing. We respect the Constitution and the rule of law. We honor the Lord in all our ways. We do not fear man who can take our bodies, but we fear the Lord who can take our souls.
I echo President Reagan’s vision: “I believe we can embark on a new age of reform in this country, and an era of national renewal, an era that will reorder the relationship between citizen and government that will make government again responsive to the people, that will revitalize the values of family, work, and neighborhood.” It must begin with all of us who believe in the sanctity of life and the intrinsic value of every human being, male and female, as defined by their chromosomes and created in their mother’s womb, encouraging Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!
