He's Not In Office To Be A Jock
Obama may fancy himself an athlete based on the many days he spent on the golf course, basketball court and White House bowling alley–all of which he made time for to the exclusion of fulfilling his presidential responsibility by attending the presidential daily brief (PDB).
In light of the latest Middle East meltdown and increased terrorist attacks–that Vice-President Joe Biden seemed to be saying, during the vice-presidential debate, that Obama was unaware of how bad things were in that region–you would think Obama would put his budding athletic resume on hold until after he leaves office. But I digress.
My point is that Obama may be able to cut down on his slice in golf, he may be able to get his bowling score closer to 200 and he may have a quick first-step crossover dribble–but he hasn’t even attempted to slice the deficit and spending. Nor have his money dumps to teachers’ unions raised the test scores of students, and he may be quick on the dribble but he darn sure isn’t quick enough to run from his economic record.
He cannot run from a weekly jobs report released Thursday, October 18th, that showed the unemployment was not coming down, but, in fact, jobless claims rose to 388,000–an increase of 46,000 for the week. And this after his wife, who is best known for her lavish spending and over-the-top vacation sprees, told people just days ago that the economy was in a massive recovery.
I’m not an economist but increased unemployment, a debilitating Consumer Price Index, 48 million people on food stamps, 23 million people unemployed, high fuel prices and an anticipated harsh winter for the northeast portion of the United States with already soaring food prices doesn’t sound like recovery to me. But, then again, maybe she is equating our lifestyle with hers.
The bottom line is that Obama has performed the functions and responsibilities of his office with less success than his bracket picks in college basketball.
Obama isn’t fast enough to run from his record. It’s there, it’s fact. He can blame it on Bush, he can blame it on the rich, he can blame it on whatever he wants, but annual family income is down more than $4,000 and people in California are suffering pursuant to negative income the likes of which for the first time since the second great war.
I didn’t make these numbers up; they’re facts that anyone able to read can find with minimal research. I’m sharing the government’s own numbers not numbers put out by a group. I’m not inventing the levels of immiseration today’s families are experiencing. I’m not making up the fact that 1 out of every 6 people is receiving some sort of government subsistence. I didn’t make up the fact that the government spent over $1 trillion on welfare in 2011. Nor am I making up the fact that under Obama the government is spending $11 for every $7 paid into it.
Obama can claim that he inherited the worst depression since 1929, which he did during the second presidential debate–but that’s also a feint using misleading dogma. The question is how many depressions have there been since 1929. The answer is none. There have been two recessions of note since 1929 those coming in the mid 70s and the early 80s. Recessions are not depressions.
I’m not sure what it is that makes people averse to the truth, especially if the person the truth is being told about is a black Neo-Leninist like Obama. A point worth considering for those race-blinded blacks and white extreme liberals–is what if Obama were white? What chance do you really think he would have had of being elected? Do any of the people castigating me and others for sharing the facts about Obama think someone with his blank background and hollow rhetoric would have been elected if he weren’t black?
A black woman going by the twitter name of mercybell7204(@mercybell7204) attacked me yesterday. Following are some of her epithets:
“I know you don’t care about anything but your self serving hatred of your people. The whites you preach to, hate U2.”
“Mychal, you are a “crab in the barrel”.
“Pandering to the white man just to keep your job, giving them what they like. You, as a black man, are a disgraceful human being. Where did your mama go wrong in raising a hate filled, self hating boy?!?!”
“Listen missy, Mychal’s onerous rants vs “OUR” President was un-American. Your agreement [with him] is crazy”
Suffice it to say, her attacks are emblematic of black contempt for propriety and an individual’s right to think based on reality. She reflects the anger of those who owe their disenfranchisement to the very liberals they support. She is typical of those who equate the stating of truth and facts about Obama’s record as attacking him based on color.
But even there they are conflicted and inconsistent in their duplicitous double standards pursuant to race. But again I digress.
I repeat the point that I’ve been making and that is Obama is not athletic enough to run from his record, and no amount of name-calling can change the facts that the level of financial crisis America stands at has happened on his watch. Are we supposed to ignore his failed policies, and specifically his lack of a coherent economic policy, as we collapse, because of the color of his skin?
If Obama were a fisherman these people wouldn’t believe his tales about the size of the fish that got away, and yet these same people want us to believe his myths about his successful economic record. I say if he wants to hone his golf, basketball and bowling skills let him do it on his own dime and time–not wasting taxpayer money as his lack of leadership pushes us off the financial cliff.
