I told you
In my Daily Rant yesterday I said: “Obama’s [bus tour] will be staged.” The very last thing wanted was for him to be confronted by persons who cause him to reveal his true self.
But, then Barry went off script; as it the case with clever people, he didn’t know when to stop being clever. He thought that he could just flippantly say anything he wanted to one of the persons in the crowd and that they would say “yes sir.” Well, guess again.
Tea Party member, Ryan Rhodes, questioned Obama on his calls to tone down rhetoric, even Joe Biden is calling Tea Party people terrorists. Obama first denied it, then tried to be glib, and after his attempt to talk down to Mr. Rhodes failed, Obama played the victim/blame card. And, he did it in his usual arrogant, “I’m better than you” attitude.
Obama said: “I’ve been called a socialist who wasn’t born in this country, who is destroying America and is taking away its freedoms because I passed a health care bill, I’m all for lowering the rhetoric.” Someone might have reminded him that what is said, about him, is both true and apparent.
He was his handlers worst nightmare. He was condescending and untruthful, but it was certainly within keeping with his character, or as this essayist would argue his lack of moral character.
Not even Mr. Nixon was this abrasive and condescending. It is as if Obama actually believes himself to be better than we are. He gives every indication that he is smarter than we are, and more gifted than we are.
Well, the truth is he isn’t. He’s a facade and charade of a leader. Misguided people put him in office and we the people, many of whom supported him last time, are doing their very best to get rid of him this time.
As I have written many times, Obama is crumbling around the edges, and the last thing his handlers can afford, is for someone to prick him the wrong way and he show his true colors. He is being held together with a string and the more pressure he experiences vis-a-vis contempt for his policies and contempt for his disdain for Americans – the greater the likelihood he will come undone in public.
He gave us another glimpse of his bigoted arrogance, when he chose to confront Mr. Rhodes with lies and insolence. That is why his handlers are literally holding their breath that another “articulate American,” doesn’t draw attention away from the stand-ins at his staged events.
