If Anyone Is A Criminal, It's Obama
I’m not sure which is worse: Obama’s pernicious mendacity, the people who unquestioningly accept it, or the Republicans’ disgustingly vapid responses to same. Obama and his campaign have had the unmitigated gall to suggest that Mitt Romney is a felon. And, before Obama sycophants say that’s not what he said, let me point out that my statement is not ipse dixit. Obama, et al, saying that “it’s impossible to be sure Romney isn’t a criminal” is precisely the same as calling him a criminal.
Obama, for his part, has stepped up his attacks on Romney’s record at Bain Capital amidst calls for Romney to release more of his tax records.
Obama should be confronted and questioned as to whether he thinks it was a criminal act for his arrogant wife to knowingly falsify the status of his daughters on their taxpayer-funded trip to Africa. Does he believe that the First Lady claiming his daughters were senior staff members doesn’t matter? He’s mister-big-time-lawyer, doesn’t he think that to knowingly falsify information on federal documents is a crime?
And, as long as I’m on the subject, here’s another question for Obama. Insofar as he is attacking Romney for engaging in what Obama claims amounts to criminal behavior, we should demand he tell us the circumstances surrounding both he and his wife being forced to surrender their law licenses. No lawyer surrenders their law license without cause and in every instance I am aware of a lawyer surrendering their law license it has been as a result of criminal behavior on their part. So tell us why the two of them haven’t told us the truth about why they surrendered their licenses.
Does Obama think there’s a difference between his falsely smearing Romney and the fact that his administration includes more than 40 known tax cheats? And, it should be mentioned, that’s without Tom Daschle who could not get through the nomination process because of his epic tax frauds. And, it should be further noted, that the disgraced former Congressman and governor John Corzine is his chief campaign bundler. He is the man Obama has publicly praised on numerous occasions who is responsible for $1.6 billion in missing MF Global client funds. Doesn’t he think Corzine’s corruption and mismanagement rise to a level above that which he accuses Romney?
Obama’s desire to debate the appearance of impropriety, and Romney’s failure to release financial records, further proves his disconnect with reality and his inbred willingness to lie. He is America’s only leader in history who has hidden not just the alleged salacious details surrounding certain of his preferential proclivities but his entire past. No other leader in the history of America has spent millions to hide their past. It is a truism that the only reason a person lies to hide things is because they have something to hide.
Obama has refused to release his college and university transcripts and it took him years to release a birth certificate–that many persons in positions to know argue is a fake. There are questions about his social security number. I submit that in the interest of his promises that his would be the most transparent presidency of all time that he spend less time concerned about Romney’s tax records and more time concerned about the tax records of Secretary Treasurer Timothy Geithner who is a known tax cheat.
If I were Romney, I would tell Obama that I would release my tax records that go beyond those I released, requisite to campaign law, when he releases his transcripts and unseals all of his hidden past.
Specific to transparency and Romney’s relationship with Bain Capital, let’s have Obama come clean on his relationship with Jeremiah Wright. Why did he lie about never hearing any racist sermons or having racist conversations with a man who is singularly known for same? Why doesn’t he tell us about his wife‘s racist tirade at the convention hosted by their church and attended by the wife of Louis Farakhan? Let’s have him tell us the truth about his now-documented record of associations with domestic terrorists. Why has he lied about his relationship with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers which now appears to go back to Obama’s teen years?
Why did Obama lie when he claimed to not think the church he attended for 20 years was controversial? And, if he wasn’t lying, then that means he condoned Wright’s racist rhetoric.
Let’s hear Obama explain his lament that the bombastic, socialist priest Michael Pfleger (a regular speaker at his church) employed divisive, backward-looking rhetoric–going on to say Pfleger’s comments were inconsistent with his personal views or those of the country. If that were true, why did he ignore my official calls to have his Justice Department take action against the New Black Panther Party’s voter intimidation in Philadelphia? Why did he have nothing to say when his Attorney General Eric Holder refused to act, saying he wasn’t going to prosecute “his people,” meaning blacks?
Let’s have Obama explain why he hasn’t insisted that his Justice Department comply fully and without delay in the ongoing criminal investigation into the illegal, international gun-running enterprise conducted by the Federal Government.
The lists of things Obama has to answer for are legion. If he is interested in stirring up fallacious accusations against Romney, there are plenty of factual accusations he himself needs to explain, not least of which is his demonstrably bad record while in office.
The one thing about Romney that cannot be denied is his successful record of accomplishments in business and with Bain Capital. Obama’s record of accomplishment as a community organizer suggests only that he knew and still knows how to successfully employ blackmail, bigotry, and how to foment discord to further a divisive agenda.
His record as president resulted in the greatest democrat losses on a state and federal level in 75 years in the 2010 off-year elections. His record is 14-plus percent factual unemployment, 23.2 million persons unemployed, and a $15.8 trillion deficit that has increased a trillion dollars every year during his presidency. His record as president has resulted in 63 percent of the nation standing adamant in their opinion that he is responsible for the country going in the wrong direction.
No wonder he wants to drum up lies about someone else; he is terrified about being forced to explain his record and past.
