I’m Watching Israel, President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu
I’m often asked within my sphere of professional association what things I’m paying attention to or watching closely. Naturally my colleagues and I pay attention on some level to the obvious things.
But there are times that what everyone else is paying attention to, is not what I am watching closely, at least not for the same reasons.
The one thing that I am watching very closely is Israel and the re-election of Benjamin Netanyahu. I’m not going to cast anything in stone yet because I’m still reading the tea leaves if you will.
But there is something that has my Christian nose sniffing the air. As I said, I am not speaking in the definitive right now, but I am reading the European press make thinly veiled, if veiled at all, left-handed remarks intended to cast dark aspersions on Prime Minster Netanyahu.
I’m have been watching the European press employ the very scare tactics and prejudice against Prime Minister Netanyahu they are accusing him of engaging in. The difference is Netanyahu is speaking the truth.
I have also been working to get a gage of just how much Obama is still involved in trying to destroy Netanyahu.
Here’s a bit of recent history for those who haven’t been paying attention. In 1999 Bill Clinton’s dirty tricks strategist James Carville and his equally as corrupt pollster Stanley Greenberg were in Israel specifically to help Ehud Barak defeat Benjamin Netanyahu.
With that knowledge firmly in mind, I remind you that Obama sent both money and a dirty ops team, who maintained polite titles while working stateside for Obama’s administration, to Israel in 2015 specifically to make sure Netanyahu was defeated. The key figure in Obama’s attempt to overthrow Netanyahu, while lying that wasn’t what he was doing, was none other than his key field campaign manager in 2012 Jeremy Glick. They failed.
The opposition money, the anti-Netanyahu personnel, and the ad hominem attacks against the Prime Minister have increased. I do not have Obama’s travel itinerary or the full list of who accompanied him just days ago to Germany to meet with Chancellor Angela Merkel.
But I will say this; nothing persuades me that it is very suspicious that this meeting just happened to coincide scant few days ahead of Israel’s elections. I cannot prove it (yet), but I would bet dollars to donuts that this seemingly innocent junket focused in no small part on defeating Netanyahu and the rapid concessions that would be favorable to Palestinians, including the “two-state” agreement that every Israel hating political entity lusts after. Again failure.
This brings my attention back to President Trump. Israel has in its history not had an American President more committed to her well-being and Sovereignty.
I do not see the attacks against Prime Minister Netanyahu as being any different from those against President Trump. In fact, I find the similarities eerily the same. President Trump purposes to protect our borders, thereby protecting Americans and he is betrayed by those of his own party.
Prime Minister Netanyahu wants to annex parts of the Israeli held West Bank to protect Israel’s citizens.
I am not just watching this closely for political reasons. I am watching closely for biblical reasons.
There are no prophecies to be fulfilled before the return of Christ for His church, i.e., the rapture of those who are saved. But I believe the table is still being arranged for what happens when all hell breaks loose here on earth after same.
Mind you, as I said, my sphere of associates and colleagues frequently ask and/or talk about what we are tracking. What I have just shared is what I am personally keeping my eyes on and I am doing same for the exact reasons I have shared.
Even if I were not a minister and a political pundit/activist, I would still be a Christian and thus I would still be paying close attention to what is taking place. Especially, when I study President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu, and what it took for them to get elected.
I have seen the evil progressive hordes defeat good men and women with idle threats, but in the case of these two men, they have had everything but the proverbial kitchen sink thrown at them and they are still winning.
When I factor the words of Gamaliel in the fifth chapter of the Book of Acts coupled with what the bible tells us is going to happen, it would be very unwise of me not to pay close attention to what is taking place with Israel right now.
That said, I would suggest you do the same.
