Look, if the Gallup numbers are right there should be similar polls coming out today and tomorrow. Any of you repubs want to make a bet on that actually happening. I can imagine repubs are pretty desperate to find any good news to clutch to right now, but do you really want to curl up in your anti-reality bubble again.

As for attacking the supposeded “37%” for supporting Obama, Does it REALLY piss you off the ALL of America is NOT racist, and bigoted like you? Does it REALLY piss you off the ALL of America does NOT hate having a black man as President like you do?

An N-word being re-elected is impeachable according to the nearly all-white GOP. The House COULD impeach Obama by bringing indictments against him from the House Judiciary Committee. While here, can someone tell me what type of negotiations are the Republicans asking for? If Obama makes any concessions to Obamacare, what are the Republicans offering? A continuing resolution to fund the government for 6 weeks? What?

See people like you, there’s just no pleasing. Sequestration required budget cuts, even for the White House. But when the White House cuts TOURS, “oh noes OMG outrage rah rah rah.” You love to complain about what big spenders we are and how we need to cut the pork, but you forget about the Law of Unintended Consequences. You can’t have your cake AND eat it too. “The Guy” you speak of is not the President of these United States, he is the President of the Mind of Cpriestess. Perhaps you are a bit unfamiliar with the way government works, or perhaps you didn’t READ the article (the usual syndrome), but this incident stops at the desk of the Secretary of Defense. The President did not affect this decision in any way, but of course in your polarized propaganda everything ends with “because of the President.”

[adsanity id=10166 align=alignleft /]That being said, as for charging veterans “a portion of the cost,” this had to do with billing ONLY veterans already enrolled in private insurance, and would have saved the VA $350 million annually for the vets who DON’T have private insurance (although I agree that this is a monumentally bad idea and it fortunately did not go through). I don’t know if you’ve had any dealings with the VA, but I can tell you that competing for funding is very tight for treatment facilities and VA hospitals alike. But to insist that the President is somehow “un-American” or “hates the military” for trying to pose a real-world solution to a real-world problem? NOOOOOPE.

There have been some questionable things. The AP scandal, for example. But when you froth and scream at every single thing the man has ever done, it all just becomes noise. To most non-tea partiers, Obama is not an evil person who is ‘against tradition and spirit of America’ or a compulsive liar.
