John Boehner, Republicans Pushing Stealth Amnesty Bill
Republican Speaker of the House, John Boehner, is using a Trojan Horse called the “Border Security Results Act,” HR 1417, to backdoor amnesty for illegal aliens. The bill is sponsored by another Republican Mike McCaul, and, from what I’m hearing it closely mirrors a bill introduced by Dianne Feinstein that bears the same name. The bill is co-sponsored by the far-left and morally opprobrious, liberal zealot Sheila Jackson-Lee.
Bob Unruh, writing for WND.com said, “top commentators are warning the Republican Party to drop amnesty cold — right now — or risk losing it all, because the addition of millions of illegal [aliens] to the voting rolls does nothing good.” (See: http://www.wnd.com/2014/01/gop-crafts-plan-to-wreck-country-lose-voters/)
Anne Coulter questioned, “Why on earth are they [i.e., Republicans] bringing in people sworn to their political destruction?” (See: http://www.wnd.com/2014/01/gops-plan-to-wreck-the-country-lose-voters/)
To me the answer to that question is irrelevant. The important thing to note is that they are. I have been warning conservatives for well over a decade that Karl Rove and the Republican establishment were not friends or allies of true conservatives. They are the exact opposite.
I have written in my “Daily Rants” and in my exclusive website feature “Behind The Political Curtain” dozens of commentaries outlining in detail the nefarious machinations of Karl Rove, John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Mitch McConnell, Orin Hatch, John McCain, Kevin McCarthy, et al. I spoke to this concern in a recent Daily Rant Live Webinar.
Look, We the People are not stupid. We’re not fools nor are we fooled. The problem is that many of us are afraid. And that is exactly what those who are deconstructing the Republican Party are using against us. They are turning the fear of many voters into capital campaign capital for the GOP.
We cannot afford to be afraid. We must be resolute in what we will abide. We must realize that the political game today is rigged so that the establishment wins. We must understand and believe that we can end that. And the way to do it is to stop rewarding those who are betraying us with reelection.
I said in my live Daily Rant Webinar that the darkest moments of every battle/war the United States was involved in were just before the bright sun of victory shined on them.
There is one reason and one reason alone Rove and the establishment Republicans hate the Tea Party, and that reason is, they know all too well that if we ever truly coalesce, the Tea Party movement of today will make the Tea Party victories of 2010 look insignificant.
We must ask ourselves, what has holding our collective noses and voting for vapid, craven, feckless Republicans — out of a misguided belief that to not do same somehow helps the Democrats — accomplished for us? Are we better off after repeating that pattern election after election? Why are the candidates we support, e.g., Herman Cain, Sarah Palin, and Ted Cruz looked upon as inferior and bad compared to Boehner, McCain, and McConnell?
It is time for us to stand up and refuse to support those who are betraying us. We the People must realize that we can turn things around by determining that we will not support establishment candidates regardless of whether we lose an election cycle. We cannot be afraid to lose if we want to win.
I am as positive of this fact as I am of my own name, and that fact is our votes do make a difference. I know it is easier to believe ghoulish vote stealing ogres hired by George Soros or some ghostly political operatives stole the votes, etc. But that is not reality. The reality is that many of us are already refusing to continue to support Rove Republicans.
If we stand resolute, We the People can win. Remember what we accomplished when they attacked Duck Dynasty. Remember what we accomplished in 2010. And equally as important — stop chasing after politicians because they give a good sound bite. We’re not interested in sound bites. We must be interested in their records. We must be interested in what they’ve done for us and/or against us lately.
And then there is one more important thing to keep in mind, and that is 99.9 percent of the voters have no real clue just how corrupt politics most politicians are. And, with that thought in mind, we must listen when we’re warned.
