No King but Jesus – No Sovereign but God by RoseAnn Salanitri
You would be hard-pressed to find a school that teaches the true impetus of the Revolutionary War, never mind its battle cry of “No King but Jesus, no Sovereign but God.” The Black Regiment that was identified by the black robes they wore while sermoning had no connection to Black Lives Matter but every connection to honoring and protecting the rights bestowed upon them by their God and King. They understood that where the Spirit of the God is, there is liberty, and they were unwilling to compromise either. We owe them a great debt of gratitude, for the English often stated that the war would never had succeeded if it weren’t for the preaching of these God-fearing men.
Our Founding Fathers embraced their teachings and the principles they evoked, which is evidenced by the words in the Declaration of Independence, wherein they stated: “…We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” While we may be familiar with these historic words, we also need to be cognizant of the next sentence that reads: “That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” And therein lies a myriad of potential lawsuits to remove and prosecute those within government that have violated our God-given rights.
First let me say that I acknowledge the hypocrisy of the men who wrote “all men are created equal” when a few owned slaves. There is no defense for this, but you should know that we are all sinners who can rationalize just about anything that is convenient . Christians should understand that even the wisest among us is a sinner who needs a Savior. Our Founders were no exception to the rule. They were wise beyond comprehension, but none-the-less, they were sinners who needed a Savior – just like we do. So I will concentrate on the wisdom of what they wrote instead of their hypocrisy, which government-run schools do ad infinitum.
Equality: a simple word that has been perverted beyond comprehension. In our Founders’ day it meant that no one in government was better than those they governed. Today is has been used to support socialistic/Marxist theories which argue that what someone has earned others are entitled to as well. This theory hides the true intent of those promoting it, which is a license to take from the masses to give to whom they choose in order to gain their vote. Evidence of the veracity of my conjuncture can be seen in Pelosi’s beauty shop visit, wherein she enjoyed all the benefits we once took for granted while a less powerful beauty shop owner was thrown in prison for opening her shop to earn a living. This episode of inequality is seen elsewhere. For example, 63-year-old former GOP Representative Steve Stockman is presently serving two years of a ten year sentence for campaign finance violations (a white collar crime). Stockman was not only denied requests for home confinement after having contracted COVID in prison, he was also told his diabetic medications may not be provided. Of course violent felons in the same prison were released due to the possibility of their contracting COVID. Where is the equality when violent criminals are considered less of a threat to society than a conservative politician who made mistakes on convoluted finance campaign rules.
There are others – like Chaplain Nick Purpura who served as a director at Bear Stearns until he blew the whistle on immoral activities. Purpura who has tirelessly instituted pro se lawsuits to protect our Second Amendment, is now being threatened with the loss of his house after providing proof in court that the bank’s claim was fraudulent – all while the courts acknowledged the validity of his claims but refused to hear his arguments.
The list goes on and on, but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the notorious and odiferous repugnant Hillary Clinton, who should have been thrown in prison while Secretary of State merely for the way she physically presented herself to world dignitaries. That aside, HC apparently is not bound to the same laws as the rest of us or she would be serving a prison term greater than or at least equal to Steve Stockman for blatantly destroying subpoenaed evidence. Yet she not only walks free spreading her reported odiferous offenses around but was nominated by the Democrats as their candidate for the Presidency in 2016. Surely this is a glaring case of some being more equal than others.
Not only is the preferential treatment afforded to Pelosi and Clinton reprehensible, offensive, and illegal; it is unjust and un-American. It has been allowed to continue simply because we have forgotten who are true Sovereign really is – and it is not some accomplished sports figure, nor is it any attractive celebrity, and it is not even any charismatic religious figure, or well-known politician. It is only Almighty God, and God is not a respecter of persons (Romans 2:11). In other words, God practices true equality.
Again, there is more. Matthew 24:12 (KJV) states: “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” The NKJV states it this way: “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” However you say it: “iniquity or lawlessness”, those who rule over us (supposedly by our consent) are lawless simply because they do not abide by the same laws they impose upon us, and they are filled with iniquity because they also violate God’s laws – especially the Democrats who call evil “good” and good “evil.” This would not be the case if Americans still embraced the commitment that only God is sovereign. Instead we allow the lawbreakers to be hallowed and unaccountable, making them our gods – our sovereigns.
Like it or not, this sad state of affairs rests solely upon our shoulders, since our founding documents clearly mandate that our elected officials are to serve us – not the other way around. By serving them instead, we have essentially made them our sovereigns – allowing them to deprive us of our liberties, and pursuits of happiness; and for the unborn, we have allowed them to deny life – as if they were the author of these things. We have allowed them to create special welfares for themselves while denying the general welfare they have taken an oath to uphold. We have allowed them to violate our First Amendment rights that provide for our freedom to worship as we please. We have allowed them to infringe upon our rights to defend ourselves and our families by lording it over our Second Amendment rights. In states where tracing has been instituted, we have allowed them to trample our Fourth Amendment rights to shreds. We have allowed liberal and power-crazed governors to violate the Tenth Amendment by creating laws that are unconstitutional. We have allowed them to pass term limits for presidents while they serve for lifetimes. We have allowed them to prosecute their position challengers for campaign finance violations while they sell us down the river for monies they received from special interests. We have allowed them to raid the coffers of our treasury to elevate personal and family favored positions from foreign governments and to expand their power bases. We have allowed them to indoctrinate our children with un-American doctrines, that are anti-Semitic as well as atheistic, erotic, and immoral.
What else will we allow these self-proclaimed gods to do? It seems that as long as we are comfortable in our homes, have enough food on the table, and are easily entertained into a comatose state, we will allow them to do just about anything they will – as if they were God Himself. Our Founders wrote in our Declaration of Independence: “…and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed (sic).” It is my prayer that these brilliant men were wrong on this count, and that our citizens will rise against our would-be sovereigns, since they can only retain their god-like positions over us as long as we worship them at the ballot box, which they are now seeking to control.
May the Spirit of He who inspired the Black Regiment reign in our hearts and thunder from the pulpits once again, and may the American patriot once again utter the words “No King but Jesus; no Sovereign but God.” For if we do, then we and those that come after us may enjoy the freedom that only the Spirit of the Living God – the one and only true Sovereign – can provide.
