"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

“No Kings” Protests Were The Stupid Games National Championships

If stupid were an organized and sanctioned sport, the governing body of same would be those who recognize themselves as leftwing Democrats and progressives.  The people sporting pink, green, and/or purple hair participating in what they laughably called their “No Kings” protests would be the contestants in what I view as the stupid games national championships.

One of the stupidest, (said being the superlative of stupid), things I saw shouted, was by a white-haired diaper wearing fossilized granny trying to relive the college days that had given her trust-fund existence meaning.  She was videoed screeching: “Have you ever heard of the Constitution?”

As I said, if being stupid were an organized competitive sport, she would be a gold medal winner.  Specific to her foolish question; my answer, had I been there would have been: As a matter of fact, I have.  I would have continued, not only have I heard of the Constitution, most importantly, I’ve also heard of the Preamble to said document as well.

For those who share diaper granny’s agnostic approach to historical fact and a proper education; The Preamble to the US Constitution reads:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

I would further explain to her, and all of her contestant buddies for the stupid games gold medal, the Preamble is important, because with respect to legal clarity:

The Preamble to the U.S. Constitution serves as an introductory statement, outlining the fundamental purposes and guiding principles of the document.  It sets the stage for the supreme law of the land. While it does not define governmental powers or individual rights, it provides a concise summary of what the Constitution aims to achieve for the nation.

The Preamble identifies the source of the Constitution’s authority:

The Preamble begins with the phrase, “We the People of the United States,” which establishes the foundational principle of popular sovereignty. This opening signifies that the authority of the Constitution and the government it creates derives directly from the citizens themselves, rather than from states, monarchs, or any other external entity. This concept was revolutionary at the time, marking a significant departure from previous forms of governance where power often originated from a ruling elite or divine right. By asserting that the people “ordain and establish” the Constitution, it underscores the idea that the government’s legitimacy rests upon the consent of the governed.

The Preamble further outlines the core goals of the Constitution:

The Preamble articulates six objectives that the Constitution aims to achieve. The first goal, “to form a more perfect Union,” sought to improve upon the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation, which had created a loose confederation of states with a weak central government. This objective aimed to create a more cohesive and effective national government capable of acting directly upon citizens, fostering greater unity among the states.

The second objective, “establish Justice,” emphasized the creation of a fair legal system for all citizens. This involved establishing a system where laws are transparently created, consistently enforced, and impartially judged, primarily through a judicial system that includes a Supreme Court and lower federal courts. This goal aimed to ensure fairness and protect individual rights under the rule of law.

Next, “insure domestic Tranquility” addressed the need for peace within the nation. This objective was particularly relevant given the social unrest and rebellions, such as Shays’ Rebellion, that had occurred under the Articles of Confederation. It signifies the government’s responsibility to maintain internal peace and protect citizens from riots, rebellions, and other forms of social disorder.

The fourth purpose, “provide for the common defence,” highlighted the need for a unified military to protect the nation from external threats. Recognizing that individual states could not adequately defend themselves, the framers intended for the federal government to have the power to raise and support armed forces. This ensures the security and sovereignty of the United States against foreign adversaries.

“Promote the general Welfare” signifies the government’s role in fostering the well-being of all citizens. While the precise boundaries of this phrase have been debated, it generally refers to actions that benefit the country at large, rather than specific individuals or factions. This objective suggests that the government should work to create conditions conducive to the overall good of the populace.

Finally, “secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity” underscores the commitment to protecting individual freedoms. This objective reflects the framers’ desire to safeguard the hard-won liberties from potential government overreach and ensure that the benefits of freedom endure.

And in closing the Preamble declares the creation of the Constitution:

The Preamble concludes with the phrase, “do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” This declaration signifies the creation and enactment of the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. It emphasizes that the document is not merely a suggestion or a proposal, but a definitive legal framework being put into effect by the authority of the people.

The Preamble is critical to the Constitution because the purpose and value of the Supreme document, i.e., the Constitution,  is derived from the “declaration of creation” in the Preamble.  It is similar in purpose to the declarations found in Genesis 1:1 (KJV) and 2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV).

The so-called “No Kings” protestors failed to realize that they weren’t protesting; they were showcasing their abject stupidity.  They’re simply useful fools wasting a weekend and destroying property, for a bagged bologna sandwich lunch, a couple dollars, and a cupcake.

I would have told granny it was more important I was versed per the Preamble to the Constitution, because it set for forth the foundation pursuant to the fundamental purposes and guiding principles of the Supreme Document in America.

It is for that purpose that true constitutional conservatives fight for Constitutionalist Justices to be appointed to the Supreme Court of The United States.  It is why we fight for true Conservative Presidents and Congressmen.  We, unlike that wrinkled old sot trying to relive some aspect of days long since behind her, realize the Constitution is more than a proper pronoun.  It is the document that sets America apart from the world.  We further rmealize that any assault or attempted assault on the Constitution threatens the document that legitimizes it, said being the Preamble.

The Framers of our Constitution were not just some old so-called “white” men – as the haters and detractors of our country like to accuse them of being.  They were God anointed, Spirit-filled, believers in Christ – willing to risk their possessions and their lives to create the greatest Country in the world for you and I.

We need Godly men and women to instill that understanding in our children.  We must be firm in our position that any person(s) desirous of coming here share our goals and ambitions.  If not, we end up with the likes of Obama and Ilhan Omar.

Any change, i.e., amendment to the Constitution must be consistent with the Preamble; changes not consistent with the purposes of the Preamble result in the betrayal of We the People.  A prime example of same would be the introduction of “The Patriot Act.”  George W. Bush introduced it under the cover of 9/11 and Obama wielded it against We the People.

Its the foolish blind who in their exalted stupidity fail to understand they weren’t protesting against a President who hates America, they’re being used to destroy the last best bastion of hope on planet earth.
